A cute deli and burger spot in Hialeah. The original spot of Kush that I heard about is in Wynwood and didn't even know that they had a location in Hialeah but we were close-ish to the area and needed a bite. After a quick search on Yelp, we found Kush in Hialeah! We came after pickleball so we were definitely hungry before coming here. It was a random Wednesday evening so it wasn't too packed for dinner but they actually had their first trivia night, so it became more lively as the night went on. Our group isn't too trivia savvy but it was free so we opted to play in for the night for Andy's Trivia! The inside of this spot gives off such diner vibes and with the ambiance, interior, and even music, we all felt like we were transported into the Stranger Things set. Such a cool spot that gives you a homey feel. The service was pretty quick and prompt and we were able to order after perusing the menu for a bit. They're known for their Frita By Kush Burger so we all ended up getting one of those but with different sides. Some of us got the Yuca fries and some the potato salad as these were both recommended by the server. The burger was pretty good but I heard that the other location tasted a bit better (not sure if it's different or has changed over time). The Yuca fries were just okay in my opinion & I wish I just got the fries to pair with my burger. The trivia night was super fun, even though we did horrible, and we'd definitely come back again for a fun night out with a group.

This was my third visit to Stephen's Restaurant, which has a relaxed, diner-style atmosphere with a classic, laid-back vibe. Service is good and the staff is attentive. We ordered the classic burger and the Reuben sandwich. The burger was cooked to perfection, but the flavor was pretty straightforward--nothing overly exciting, but still satisfying. The fries, however, were just right: crispy with the perfect balance between thick and thin, making them a great complement to the burger. The star of the meal was definitely the Reuben sandwich. The bread was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor, which really elevated the dish. The corned beef was tender, and the combination of sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and dressing was spot on.I feel like the other times the food was better but I'd come back and explore more of their menu.

I love this place. The decor is so reminiscent of my childhood. Probably true for any Hialeah kid. For appetizers we always get the latkes (I recommend mixing the apple sauce and sour cream) and the nachos which are loaded plantain chips. The Jewben sandwich is a mix between a Cuban and a Reuben and it's my fav. Burgers It's the reason I go often. The guava burger and Johnny burger are good too. Drinks are strong with funny names. The staff is always super nice. P.s. Do yourself a favor and try the key lime pie. I don't even like key lime pie but ooof!

Great drinks and sandwiches. Service is a bit laid back. Prices are fair. Feels like you are traveling in time to 1960's

I almost don't want to write a review so no one else will come here but that ain't the Yelp spirit! ;)My fiancé and I have been here many times but most recently for my birthday dinner. When we're here we have to get the latkes and the Jewban, and often fight over who gets the last bite. I got the Frita burger which comes with the most perfect, crispy fries. And can't forget the fun cocktails. I had the Mexican from Miami which is basically a watermelon marg. Service was excellent from our server, the hostess, bartender and the guy who brought us our food.Stephen's Deli can do no wrong!

I'm officially obsessed with this place. Got here right around opening with a group of six and we were able to get seated right away. Every detail of this place has been thought out and it's the perfect blend of retro and modern while still having that classic diner feel. We ate lots of food between all of us. The matzo ball soup, the alligator bites, latkes, a Reuben, Rachel, chicken and waffles... it goes on. Everything was absolutely freaking delicious. Come here for brunch... you will not be disappointed.

This spot is a vibe within itself. So cool, very old school miami and a lot of fun to be at. The food was nice, the drinks were fun but the happy hour specials on the beers was the best. And Jenny our bartender was very sweet and accommodating while I tried figuring out which beer I'd like most.

Been meaning to visit for a while, and finally made it. Came in a Saturday afternoon, busy but not crowded. Loved the easygoing vibe and the service was great. Everything we had was on point, Croquettes appetizer and the Juwban sandwich were standouts. Will definitely visit again!

Pickle salty and mushy. Corned beef in Reuben too chunky. Not enough sauerkraut. Hair in extra Russian dressing on side. Classic burger and fries were decent.
