Pretty good wings! Came here for lunch and the wait wasn't long either. The food came out nice and fresh, I'd recommend the honey flavor wings. The server was kind and I liked that you press a button to let them know when you're ready to order so you're not rushed while looking at the menu. The sweet potato fries were pretty good as well. Plenty of spacious seating so you can come with a large group! Would come by this establishment if in the area!

I really enjoyed the food I got. I ordered a 10 piece of the sweet & spicy with a side of the fried dumplings and a peach Milkis to wash it down with. While the food was very enjoyable, I do think both the sweet & spicy sauce on the wings, and the filling for the dumplings could use a bit more intensity in their flavors. Just looking for a little more punch. However, still very delicious food. I'll be going back, and recommend trying them out!

Best fried chicken in Spring Branch! Always hot and always tasty. You'll want to go back to try all the other flavors!

I absolutely LOVE Korean fried chicken. We were on our way to San Antonio from Houston, and KRISP was on the way. This was my second time ordering KRISP, but I haven't had a chance to write a review from my first experience, so I'll combine it in this review. We normally order KRISP on the app/online for pick-up since it's easier, plus the inside of the restaurant is rather small - so if you do plan on dining in, it's always best to go during an off-peak hour. We ordered the spicy soy wings and the garlic fried chicken (half), as well as some truffle fries for a side. Last time, we had more or less the same thing with the addition of the kalbi marinated wings. I really like how they serve their chicken here because not only is it just incredibly crispy and seasoned well, they serve it with rice cakes. I do, however, prefer to eat my KFC with rice, but the rice cakes soak up all the sauce and flavor, so it makes up for it.The garlic fried chicken (half) was more than enough to share between me and my boyfriend. You would think that the sauce would make the chicken kind of soggy or "wet", but it was surprisingly still super crispy. I was taken aback at how crispy it was, but wow! It was really delicious. The spicy soy definitely had a good kick to it and was also equally crispy and delicious. I highly recommend this place for any KFC lover out there. It's some of the best Korean fried chicken I've had; I just wish it weren't so far from where I'm at, otherwise I'd be going out of my way to get it more often.

Some of the best Korean chicken I have ever had. The fries were also great. Tried the Truffle fries, Kimchi fries and onion rings. Worth going just for the fries. The spicy soy chicken was perfect. Not sure how they got the chicken so crispy without seeming too greasy. Can't wait to go back.

After walking in Terry Hershey park on a Sunday evening in late April, something in my taste buds hankered for some KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). I don't know how it came about, guess it was due to being near Spring Branch which contains a multitude of KFC options. With so many to chose from, my randomly decided on this one due to the reviews. After placing an order online, I rolled here to scoop up my order. Upon walking in, everything was ready for me (thumbs up to the staff for that). I pondered as to why the interior of the dining area was on the darker side; maybe people like eating their chicken in shadowy areas? After snapping out of my own thoughts, I got back home and unwrapped everything to dig in.I went with half original and half creamy onion based on the YELP photos. Also went with an order of fried dumplings as a warm up. Probably could've done without the dumplings and just ordered more chicken or a different starter since they didnt' taste that special to me. Now the chicken on the other hand was crispy, greasy, juicy, salty, all the profiles you want in fried chicken. The Korean kind does these at the highest level which is why people are obsessed with it. Chicken also has mini fried rice cakes mixed in which compliment the chicken well. The creamy onion came on the side so I kept pouring/dipping the chicken into it since it's like an addiction. Sweet creams are made of these!I plan on trying other flavors next time such as honey butter and spicy soy and other apps such as their fries, corn cheese, and coleslaw. So far, a good impression.

Krisp serves up some of the crispiest and juiciest chicken I've ever tasted. The batter was perfectly seasoned, and the chicken itself was tender and flavorful. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors, and the portion sizes were generous. Whether you prefer the classic soy garlic or the spicy varieties, its a beenPrice-wise, Krisp Korean Fried Chicken falls into the mid-range category. It offers good value for the quality of food and portion sizes provided. The menu is reasonably priced, allowing customers to enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.Krisp Korean Fried Chicken is a standout establishment for anyone craving delectable Korean fried chicken. Their dedication to quality and authentic flavors shines through in every bite.As usual toddler approved

My girlfriend and I came for dinner on Tuesday. It's a very quiet store, most people seem to order pickup rather than dine in. We ordered 6 wings of the sweet and spicy, and the soy spicy each with regular fries. The fries came out first, they were nice and crunchy. The wings were amazing, extremely crispy and with delicious flavor. I think I preferred the soy spicy wings, they had lovely umami and good spice, and more of a dry rub style than a wet sauce style. The sweet and spicy were also good, very typical Korean flavors. Definitely would come back, I think this place is one of the few remaining KFC locations in Korea town now with Choongman closing.

I came in with my family on a Tuesday lunch and it was completely empty. No staff, even. I went up to the register to see if anyone was around and I heard yelling in the kitchen. I waited a good 10 minutes before a Uber Eats/Door Dasher came in and just walked into the kitchen to ask for their order. An employee came out and handed the dasher their food and then asked me what I wanted. I said I'd like to sit down for a meal if they were open. He told me to just sit anywhere in a dismissive attitude and went back into the kitchen. Another 5 minutes went by before handing us the menus.Tteok-Bokki - $12.95 - 3/5Good flavor on the sauce but the portion was a tad small for the price tag. Also, when they say fried egg, they deep fry the egg, which was different than the soft boiled egg I'm used to. Wouldn't get again.1/2 Chicken lunch - $11.95 - 4/5Chicken: Crisply fried and very juicy on the inside. I was impressed at how precisely it was cooked. Most places will over fry the chicken and dry it out. 5/5Sauces: We got Spicy Soy and Creamy Onion. I asked the waiter the difference between spicy soy, sweet & spicy, and hot spicy. He told me they were all the same but just different levels of heat. I don't actually think that's true because the Spicy Soy had barely any sweetness to it at all. The sauce was good but would have been excellent with that added sweetness. Could have been a bit spicier as well but that's just personal preference. 4/5. Creamy Onion tasted like a loose tartar sauce. I've had better elsewhere. 2/5. Next time, I'd want to come back for the Garlic and Sweet & Spicy.Fries: The fries that come the chicken are top notch. Great texture and flavor. Not too salty either! 5/5Value: Lunch was a great value with a price tag of $12 for a half chicken plus fries and slaw. Would come back again to try the other flavors.Service did pick up towards the end of the meal but it really put a damper on the meal and we felt like we had to walk on eggshells. However, with how well the chicken was fried, the value, and the fries being amazing, I would still give Krisp another shot with different sauce flavors. If we can just nail the sauces and have at least average service, then I can see myself updating this review to a 5 star next time.
