Found this location about 3 weeks ago and have been back several times since. I love the service and food! They have live music on friday's, proving a great environment to sip drinks at.

UPDATE! This is no longer Latin per se but now Italian! I went to this spot with my roommate in the hopes of trying out Latin cuisine, however, we were quickly told by our server that the location underwent new management and thus had a completely new menu! While it was disheartening to hear that, we decided to stay anyway and ordered off their food that was now more Italian. The wait wasn't long and the venue seemed very family friendly, but again we were expecting Latin food.We ordered a pizza and an Alfredo and both were quite filling and delectable! It was enough to save for another night for leftovers. Thank you for the kindness and pleasure of dining in, but please change the name to reflect that you are no longer serving Latin food! :p

I came with a friend for dinner. Ample amount of parking and the restaurant is very cute . I'm surprised there wasn't a lot of ppl there it was only two other parties that came the entire time we were there ( we were there from 7-close) We were greeted promptly ( idk who the other person who complained about no one speaking English because they def spoke English but I was def ready to practice my Spanish but I digress ) Food was flavorful! Very delicious I had the paisa bowl and it was good ! Lots a flavors not something I would usually go to but I'm happy with my choice My friend had the Caribbean burger dis- assembled ( don't ask questions lol) she said it was really good I had the empanadas sampler I liked 3 out of 4 Strawberry lemonade was delicious although no one came to ask me for another one or if we would like a refill They have been bought by another owener so they're adding Italian which was weird to me but hey who am i they brought us a free App from their Italian menu it was good but a bit cheesy for my liking. All in all it was really different for my typical pick but I have no complaints try it at least once

The good: -Small contemporary vibes - very nice interior and welcoming.-Family-owned -Culturally fused cuisine (The sweet -plantains and arrepas were really good)-Somewhat easy access (depending on the direction you are coming from on Kingsland Blvd you may need to maneuver a u-turn if you're in busier than usual traffic - keep that in mind) -Ample parking-Extensive menu optionsThe not so good: -Very empty. I expected based on the reviews for there to be WAY more traffic than we saw.-Were out of a majority of food - had an A-board outside with menu special but was told it wasn't available. -The staff kept staring at our family the entire time we were seated - to an uncomfortable degree.-The food was VERY greasy. VERY. To the point that one of the boys just couldn't finish the meal.-The portions were quite small and there were no drink refills.-The lemonade was an undrinkable degree of sour. My kids didn't like it at all and when we sent it back and asked for water, we were charged for both water AND the lemonade. Not good. Side note: At first glance - a lot of people are oblivious to the idea that I speak Spanish (Puerto Rican blood - what can I say!). However, even though I do - my children & husband only speak words and can carry minimal conversations. Usually, the staff will just start speaking English instead or the boys will point to what they want on the menu and it works. They're learning and as such haven't the capacity to understand someone when they speak another language fluently. I have a tendency to speak more "Spanglish" or broken-Spanish than anything else but still... if you are in an environment that is very diverse and you can clearly see that everyone around you or your customer-base is English speaking... well at least have someone that speaks it. Unfortunately, when we visited this location - NO ONE spoke English and that was off-putting.I may or may not try it again. Considering it was a one-off trip to the area, I can't say I'd put this on my list of spots to visit when on that side of town... I digress - I REALLY wanted to love Kricos... maybe you will!!

Small mom n pop restaurant. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambience. Wasn't busy when we went on a Friday night. They also have good happy hour prices. We tried the platter which was mostly fried . Everything tasted great.. it's fired lol. The margaritas tasted good and was $4 during happy hour. There was only one waitress (Spanish speaker). So communication maybe a bit difficult. I would definitely recommend this place for Columbia and Peruvian dishes. Looking forwarded ti trying non fried items.

This restaurant is a great one. I really enjoyed the food and the drinks. If you are in the mood for some great Latin food, then you should definitely check this place out. The service was great and I really enjoyed being here.

The service is amazing and the interior is beautiful!The food is definitely good but I was expecting more flavor from the pollo al limon. The sides we got were sweet plantains, kricos rice, and house salad (salad and rice come with the pollo al limon) the sides were yummy and flavorful. Not pictured is their mango juice but it is sooooo good!! No free refills but worth it! We also tried the empanada sampler but we were only fond of 2/4. I'll definitely be back and I'll have to try the steak sandwich or a bowl.

It was quiet when we came in.The food was delishDrinks got me going. Great location.Clean, family oriented.They were checking on us constantly but not too much to bother us.The drinks were strong. (I am a lightweight now)very great experience, if you're in the area you should definitely give it a try! don't skip it :)

We loved it here! The staff was super friendly. Really nice inside as well and clean. The drinks were large and delicious. The food was great and fresh. We absolutely loved the fried chicken tenders. So much flavor and still juicy and it came with two sauces. We will be back!

After reading all the positive reviews, we decided to finally check out Kricos.We were not disappointed.We were greeted outside the front door by the owner's mother (with menus in hand!) - a great first impression.Once inside, we discovered a colorful and inviting dining area. The service was warm and informative though out the meal. We order several drinks/dishes:Guanabana Juice, two types of Empanadas, Soup, Lomo Salteado Bowl, two types of Pastelitos -guava and dulce de leche, and freshly brewed coffee.We were impressed with their wide range of drinks and dishes representing the rich variety of Latin American cuisine. A real festival of flavors!Everything was delicious and nicely presented. We definitely plan to return soon.
