Krazy Katsu & Udon

We recently visited Hawaii and was craving for some pork katsu. This place totally delivered! We love it. Food: delicious, meat is tender juicy and crispy. Curry is amazing although be aware it's a little spicy. The rice is cooked just right, salad is pretty good. Their katsu sauce has a little sweet and sour punch to it, kinda tastes like a mixture of katsu and pineapple juice. Service: friendly and kind. Cashier is a little bit quiet but she's very pleasant. Drinks: they have pretty good honey boba milk tea. Also free ice water that you need to grab for yourself. Ambience: chill and tables are pretty clean. Overall, we definitely will come back to support this small business.

Very casual spot for some very nice udon and Japanese curry. Most of the time that I've had udon it's been pretty flavorless but here, the broth was full of flavor and had a seafood-ie aftertaste which, as a seafood lover, was great. Bite that the seafood taste was probably due to the type of udon we ordered.We also ordered to chicken katsu curry and the mozzarella katsu. The curry was thicc and filling with a nice amount of crunch and the chicken katsu was made to order. A lot of reviews here love the mozzarella katsu but I found it bland. It's the only thing I would not order.It was easy enough to fit a stroller and was overall baby friendly as it wasn't loud or crowded when I went for lunch. Baby friendly: 5/5 (for lunch anyway)Food: 5/5 (the katsu is made in house and the food tasted handmade) Service: 5/5- bare bones service. You go up to a counter to order. I don't know how to really rate it since there wasn't too much to it. It did take a while for the food to come out but they were making things to order which I'm willing to wait for. 5/5 because there were no issue and I like the fact that the restaurant clearly cares about quality and does not seem to be using frozen ingredients.

Wow!! LOVED that we randomly stumbled upon this place in our daily venture. I couldn't decide what I wanted but was really leaning toward seafood and wanted to try a little bit of everything. Ended up getting Combo C Mix with Chicken. Everything was perfectly battered and fried. The batter was so light and airy with the perfect satisfying crunch! I didn't want it to end! I wasn't a big fan of the cheese katsu as it was just too cheesy for my liking but was also perfectly fried. Also happened to be dining during the eclipse! Thankfully we had our shades with us

TLDR: Decent, but nothing Krazy...Visit: Weekday (dinner)Service: 5.1/10They take your order and bring you the food. That's it. If anything, they're efficient because there's no extra talking/greeting other than necessary lol. Order: Pork Katsu7.1/10Everything is presented nicely and the crust around the Katsu was pleasantly light and crispy. However, the pork itself was prettttty dry. Unlike most of the Katsu items I've had around town, this was noticeably overcooked. The sides (salad, macaroni, rice) were all adequate, with the emphasis for improvement being the macaroni. It was pretty bland. Once I added some sriracha, it was bearable.

French fries were pretty good, like mcd's but more potato!Udon soup was SO good.Chicken katsu was a little dry, but good when dipped in the soup.Perfect for a cold day

Great place for a quick bite that's also delicious! I got the chicken katsu with curry and the chicken was fried so well. Perfectly crispy and light and the meat was juicy. Their curry is also very very good. Not much to say on service since you order up front but the young lady was very nice! I would recommend trying out these combos that they have for sure. You get a lot of food/side dishes with the order. In my opinion it is a tad overpriced but the food is good so that won me over.

Perfect for: quick-and-easy-datesGet the Katsu+Udon/Curry set, it's sooo worth it! The katsu is fried up perfectly. Perfectly crispy, still moist inside, and not overwhelming. Comes with salad and macaroni (which is really really good). Plenty of variety so switch between foods so you don't tire of the same bite. I got the curry, which went well with the rice. It is slightly on the saltier side, so I'd recommend getting more rice or at least saving some katsu to balance it.Prices are very fair, so this makes Krazy Katsu a krazy good deal!

Yums! First quick food stop and this place was quite pleasant. The staff was nice and the chicken katsu set was good. The food is fresh so expect to wait at least 10 minutes for any fried dishes.

Was craving katsu from Japan. Looked up this place and did not disappoint! If you're craving traditional Japanese katsu, I'd recommend going to this place! Tried the chicken and beef katsu; both were really good! Have to come back and try the pork. Customer service was top notch!
