I was in the area meeting a friend and after we wanted to find a new place with decent prices for dinner. This place looked great and offered wine which was what I wanted. Among entering we were greeted and seated quickly. The place is smaller than I would have thought but cute and anyone could come here families, girls night out, or date night. I wanted a glass of wine but ended up ordering the spicy margarita and my friend ordered a cocktail as well. I will say this place is not the place to order a cocktail instead I would suggest ordering wine. My margarita was not spicy and tasted like juice. The homemade chips were cooked to perfection and my hot honey chicken sandwich had a great balance of hot, crispy, and juicy. My friend loved her burger and fries as well. I plan to go back but I will be ordering a glass of wine. Oh the service was wonderful.

This place has an excellent burger. I don't know how to explain it, it's just delicious. The fries on the other hand are rather average. I decided to just kind of overlook that because everything else was so good. I was meeting up with a group of friends. And we all seem to arrive at different times. Two of us were sitting there waiting and chit-chatting and finally ordered. They asked if it was our first time and we said it was. Next thing we know they're bringing us an order of their brussel sprouts. These things are pretty awesome.The service was wonderful. We sat outside as it was one of those few days in Houston where the weather just works out magically for that. Overtime, our other friends showed up. Everyone enjoyed the food.Next time I would just like the burger with a side of brussel sprouts and skip the fries. I wonder if that's an option?

Actually if you want a filet mignon for lunch go to Saltgrass. They have a good one for $20-22 with a side and salad and the service is awesome!$42 at KP is a bit much it is an extremely casualRestaurant. Food is okay and overpriced here. I'd only go if it's on your way.

Hands down to the service at this place! The staff will make you feel incredibly cared for from the moment you enter the place. The ambiance is comfortable, relaxed, homey! We ordered a scrumptious artichoke dip that came with home made chips. We thought we were not going to finish the big portion but we didMy hubby ordered a hamburger which was super JUICY and delicious I ordered pork chop and I enjoyed it so much. Finally we had their butter cake which I think it was good , a bit too sweet. But we also ate it all.

OK this review is really gonna be based on service more than food. Servers were very attentive and kind.This place is casual dining. It's a little dark inside. And I saw families eating. The space is small if you have a large party definitely make a reservation.We decided to order the Ribeye special, which is a Ribeye for two it came with salad,, fries, and asparagus. I was really excited about having the steak because I had been craving meat for a couple of days.. We started with a house salad and a Caesar salad. We also had an order of wings. The wings were delicious. We got the hot honey on the side and so we were able to administer the sauce as much as we wanted. I also enjoyed the House salad. It was simple like spring mix with tomato and carrots and the vinaigrette. Prime Rib or Rib Eye is usually my preference because there is a lot of marbling in the meat and so that it makes it nice and juicy and then I usually get it cooked medium rare. This time since I was sharing with someone we decided to go medium, which should have a pink center. I'm not really sure what happened in the back of the kitchen I am not even 100% sure of the cut of meat of meat but when the steak came out, it looked good, but it ate like an overcooked New York strip... overdone and it was extremely chewy. I mean I had a hard time eating it and when the staff came over and asked us how things were we were very honest and so then they asked us. How can we make it right would you like something else? Would you like us to bring another? I didn't want waste the meat or waste another cut of meat. I was kind of a little skeptical about getting another Steak so they offered us some meatballs and brought those out. I think it was really nice to recognize that we were dissatisfied and try to make it right so for that I give props for the service and they're willing to listen and try to make our experience better by offering us something else.

KP's is delicious & the owner is as kind as can be. Highly recommend for any occasion from a casual lunch with kids, date nights to a girly brunch with friends. Love this spot!

Pleasantly surprised by this cute restaurant ! I really appreciated the awesome friendliness of the staff , the beautiful decor , great ambience , cool background music ... and of course the delicious food . We had the breakfast sampler ( lots of food ), burger , and truffle fries .... Will come back again

KPs is everything I thought it would be. From the quick service to the homemade dishes, I enjoyed my lunch here, but I don't think I will be back.To start off before I go to any restaurant I always make sure to check the menu to choose what I want. Here I found it difficult to find something that popped off the page since the items were very standard and there weren't a whole lot of items to choose from. The food was pretty average to be completely honest, and truffle fries were disappointing (comparing them to hopdoddy). I also think that the prices were too high with the quality of food they were serving. My salad was pretty good, but only came with a small sliver of salmon and a whole lot of greens. The desserts were all pretty average. The reason I say I probably wont be coming back is because I don't see anything else on the menu that I want to try, since I'm a pretty adventurous eater.The staff was friendly and put together. The place was clean. Decorations were cute, and the noise level was normal. The food also came out pretty fast.Overall, although I did have an enjoyable lunch here this is simply not a place that stood out to me in any way.

We visited KP's Kitchen on a Saturday night after seeing it repeatedly posted on IG. The restaurant is conveniently located near Memorial City mall, but not in the chaos. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. Happily, we were able to sit inside at one of the communal tables. Everything was very clean and aesthetically pleasing.We did not have a reservation, but our party of two was seated quickly. The staff is extremely friendly, personable, and does a great job of engaging with customers with relevant small talk. We went with two of the recommendations, one to try a must have drink and a must have appetizer.We enjoyed the following:- Sour Cherry Lemon Drop- Virgin Mojito - Spinach artichoke dip with house chips- Gulf crab cakes- Roasted brussel sprouts- Italian Meatballs- KP'S wicked wings: buffalo with ranch dressing- Pecan-apple crumble with the ice cream on the sideWe had a fantastic experience at KP's kitchen. We hope you give them a try and enjoy what the menu has to offer.

We tried this place today for lunch. Food and ambiance were okay, service is a little bit better. I got Friday's special "Fish N' Chips", 3 red fish fingers with Fires.. nothing exceptional except the price of that dish $24! it's a standard lunch joint, you should not spend more than $60 for two. I don't mind paying extra to try a new space but on this one it didn't sit well. Overrated!
