I love this place, this has been my go to place for Korean bbq since the late 80s. Unfortunately, my last visit here wasn't the same. Yes, the food here is still so freaking good, I love the kalbi & squid. The sides are as delicious as they were years ago but this place has changed as they've gotten a bit stingy with the sides (you have to order a certain amount of protein to get more than 2 servings of the sides) & one of our last visits there, the waiter was exremely rude & impatient. It seems like they have had really bad customers that over-demanded on things so they knee jerked with nickel & diming you. Even with all that said, I still love this place but not for dinner anymore. When I get a hankering for K-bbq, I'll visit during lunch & get the bibimbap. Let the kitchen cook the meat & I get a happy bowl of all of my favorites.

We recently met up with some friends here for some KBBQ, was a great experience!Food: 5/5 the portions are generous, albeit a tad bit on the expensive side (not AYCE). The seafood pancake was amazing, and the seafood noodles were surprisingly good too. BBQ meats were fresh and tastyService: 5/5 everything came out quick and our servers were friendly. My son loved seeing the robot servers go back and forth! Ambiance: 5/5 they have a little waterfall area on the inside that my son loved to play with. This seems like a great spot for families to take their kids, and we were surprised that the smoke didn't bother our little one so I guess they have great ventilation!Overall a great dinner, would come back!

A fave spot for Korean food in the area. I love coming here either for their lunch/dinner menu or kbbq. Plenty of parking spaces in a small plaza off of Long Point. Service is quick and friendly. We always get seated right away. Some of my favorite items are the soft tofu stew with seafood, bossam, and the LA Galbi. I always get the tofu stew every time I'm here. It's my comfort food and pair with the LA galbi makes a great combo. The large bossam could feed 4-6 people. We can never finish it especially when you're also eating all the sides and other dishes. I have also tried kbbq here with a group. We were seated in a private room. You can order off of their combo menu. I mostly prefer just ordering off of their normal menu versus doing the kbbq.

After the Texans' game, my wife and I went to Korea Garden for a quick dinner. This is one of the oldest Korean restaurants in Houston (it's been here 40 years), and it's still here for a reason! We ordered the spicy marinated pork (one of my favorite Korean dishes) and the marinated short rib (again, one of my favorites!), and let the kitchen staff cook it rather than do it ourselves at the table. It was wonderful! The atmosphere here, at least while we were there, was quiet and cozy - perfect for a romantic dinner! I love Korean food, and this place is on my short list of best Korean restaurants in Houston!

Came here for the first time over the weekend and it is safe to say that it is one of my new favorite spots! Even on a Saturday night, we were seated immediately and the service was quick and friendly throughout the meal. The staff even helped us park our car when we couldn't find a spot in the limited parking lot. We ordered the Kimchi Jjigae and the Bul Dak Dol Sot. Both of the dishes were so so delicious. The Kimchi Jjigae was hot, flavorful, and comforting. It paired well with the accompanying rice, too. The Dol Sot was amazing as well--just a great mixture of vegetables, rice, and spicy chicken. The rice was crispy along the bottom and sides of the hot bowl, which added some great texture to the meal. The food came with many side dishes and even a small free dessert (a sort of sweet rice slushie--I'm not sure of the official name) which was all delicious, too.The cherry on top of the cake was that it was not too expensive either! Pre-tax and tip, we paid $30. Given the quality and quantity of the food, it was a steal!Totally recommend stopping by Korea Garden Restaurant.

They're great people. They've been good to my grandparents and for that I'm thankful. The food is good as well (bulgogi is a favorite of ours and the hamuel pajeon is phenomenal)They offer many side dishes and know how to make great food here. Cheers!

Fun experience to do with a large group, reserve a room in the back. Not my favorite kbbq experience. I really thought the ban Chan was lacking sadly and thought the meats were just okay. The scallion pan cake and fried rice were good. Fun to get a big round of soju going and have a good time. The experience/activity is funner than the food itself sadly.

Very good Korean food. Service was great too. The quality was ok for the Korean galbi--but prices were lower than other restaurants especially w all the beef prices going up. It was tasty and the banchan and egg gyeran-jim was a great side. We also tried the spicy rice cakes, tteokboki which was spot on. Finished w a complimentary sweet rice drink called Shikye that was yummy.

HOUSTON, TX / KOREAN / 11-27-22 / LUNCH+The banchan side dishes were well-made and more on the traditional side.+The fish roe soup was pretty good.+The kids enjoyed the marinated galbi.-Customer service was non-existent, as this is typical at Korean restaurants. You'll be lucky to get a water refill.-The decor was dated, greasy, and dusty.

Best Korean food in Houston! The quality is just the best we've seen around here and is worth the price. From the banchan to the barbecue, everything was top-notch. Definitely reminded me of the best Korean food I've eaten in Seoul. The robot server was also a cool experience. I definitely recommend going here and I can't wait to be back.
