Kona Roastery

This place is in my way to work and I love their lattes! I'm usually greeted with a smile and a friendly good morning. The cooler has a smooth flavor, not bitter or overpowering. There are plenty of places to sit inside and chat while you enjoy your coffee! I love it when they write sweet notes on your cup too!

We picked up a couple tasty coffee drinks. When I try a "new to me" coffee spot I order my go to drink, a hot cappuccino with two splendas....done to perfection here. My wife's go to drink is usually a frozen blended concoction....also done very well, I know because I must sample everything to give an honest review, right?! I love great roasted whole coffee beans I can grind at my house whenever I want, so I picked up a bag of Kona black sand signature blend. The first batch I ground made a very nice cup of jo. The only down side to these beans is there's no roast date on the bags. The roastery is on the premises and you can see everything through a big window, I like that.

Pretty nice coffee and cute shop. The crazier signature drinks were a little to out there for me, so I'd recommend (if it's your first time) to stick with the standard menu before exploring other items.Nice service and ambiance. Only bad side was the grinder was out and the nitro cold brew needed to be replaced... still willing to go back though!

Caramel macchiato is real good. Love the atmosphere here. Nice friendly staffs. This place put Starbucks to shame. Very close to home is an extra bonus.

I love a good coffee shop. Kona has a really nice vibe and it's a great place to get some work/reading done. During my first visit to Kona, I met some friends. I ordered a cheese and egg breakfast bagel sandwich and a hot matcha latte. Kona is a Hawaaiin-based cafe and it's definitely giving Hawaii vibes, aloha honey. The customer service is great and this cafe is definitely on my list of favorites.

The interior decoration is perfectly matching the service and coffee, very relaxed and cozy.The white mauna was extremely light, but bold with a refreshing, almost nutty coffee flavor.The barista was very friendly and gave good recommendations on what to order. I would definitely come back again to try the rest of the selections.

I love the atmosphere inside, super cozy and vibey. As for the drink, I ordered a Iced Vanilla latte (half sweetened) and it was perfect. A bit pricey but perfect

The service was good and the apple cake was delicious but the espresso was subpar. We sat outside as there was no tables available inside even though it is large with a lot of seating, it was just filled with clients. A very good sign. One of us had a regular coffee and he said it was good.

Vibe- This is such a cute coffee shop with an island vibe, more specifically Hawaii feels. There's green plants all around and they do have seating outside and plenty of seating inside.Customer service- Great! Food/drinks- I got a hot matcha latte with oatmilk and lavender, it was soooo good :) it was a little pricey but I could tell the matcha had great quality Parking- There's plenty of spots in the lot.

Check your receipts. The girl at drive thru overcharged me then when I asked for my receipt claimed it wasn't working. I knew my regular order so waited to check the receipt to confirm she had indeed overcharged me. And when refunding me had the gall to give me attitude. Kona Roastery started out great - the ambience the food the drinks the service - but once summer starts and they hire high schoolers for the season, that all quickly went downhill.If you order a drink they'll give you a hot drink in 100 degree weather without ever confirming hot or iced. Maybe double check before you assume people want hot drinks in 100 degree summer. Or they'll give you melting gelato without a bag or napkins bc who wouldn't anyone want dirty sticky sugary cars this summer to attract all the bugs right. And handle the spoons with their grubby fingers without care or hygiene.A little common sense would go a long way. I doubt I'll be back much during the summer high school season and if I do come back, will be checking all my receipts.
