Kona Reserve Coffee

If you're out in the burbs and looking for a good go to coffee place, I would recommend Kona. This coffee shop (not to be confused with the roastery) sits on the corner of a shopping strip in a still developing area of the Katy/Fulshear area. The clean and simple look gives this place a nice cozy vibe despite it having a large open space with plenty of sunlight. I love that the area just felt good with plenty of table and seating available. Now for the coffee- they have a few different and unique lattes they offer. I got their seasonal Cupid caffeine which was an iced americano topped with chocolate strawberry foam. It was pretty delicious. Their house coffee is pretty decent as well, but I think I prefer their lattes. I'm also curious to try some of their premium beans. I would have tried it this past time, but the price tag was a bit steep at $9 for a drip of their special beans. I opted for the latte which was around $6.50 and a bit more of a palatable price. What got me really excited about this place was their musubi offerings. Alongside spam, they had a few other offerings like sausage and egg and salmon. While the salmon felt almost like a giant nigiri, I still liked their musubis because it was a nice touch to have as a good option. I will say that the portion size is a bit smaller than I'm used to for a musubi but taste was still pretty good. If I'm in the area, I would come back again. I think it's good to make the trek at least once to try it out!

Cute coffee shop in Katy. Ample space for parking and seating. Great workspace vibe. Coffee, tea, & lig bites available. The service was excellent. Staff is super friendly and chill out here. Very earthy aesthetic with a homey atmosphere.

First visit to Kona and it was pleasant and coffee was good. They offer sweet pastries and breakfast sandwiches. The service in my opinion was slow. Nice ambiance and overall pleasant experience. We spent $38 for 2 coffees and 2 breakfast items so it's on the pricey side so probably not a good spot for kiddos for the money. Otherwise give it a try is your a coffee enthusiast.

I love this place! It is perfect for getting work done and they offer wifi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I usually get their chai latte or dirty chai latte with oat milk. I haven't tried their sandwiches or gelato but I plan to. There is plenty of space inside and they have different layouts of tables and bar areas. They play light music in the background. There are not many plugs for chargers but they do have a few spots where you can hookup devices.

A little hidden gem in the Fulshear/Katy area. It is worth checking out. Customer service is an A++++. Drinks were great too. Highly recommended if you like something sweet and cold, the toffee mocha. This is delicious without being cloyingly sweet. Gelatos were rich too. The coffee Kona flavored gelato was absolutely decadent. They serve sandwiches here and I was surprised to see they have spam musubi! The menu is diverse in its selections and they have a specials board at the register. A good place to have a coffee and chat.

It's a cute little mid day spot for meeting, date, relaxing or just have a little pick me up coffee.The chicken sandwich is yummy as well. Coffees are great. But espresso macchiato is quite strong. I drink a lot of espresso, but this one is definitely a bit more bitter for me.

I love the coffee and the vibe of this place! It's very spacious and good for 4+ people study groups. The workers were really friendly and welcoming. It's a really far drive for me, but I would come back!

i'd highly recommend their coconut latte drink it was delicious warm. the staff are also very attentive, friendly & prompt.

Came in today after my wax appointment next door and am so glad I did! Baristas are so nice and helpful, and helped me decide what coffee was right for me! Will definitely be coming back to grade papers or work on homework as it's nice and quiet with plenty of tables!

Lavender Bloom - 9/10 - Comes with oatmilk. Had lavender, cinnamon, and vanilla but each flavor was light and perfect.Shakelatto - 8/10 - I got this with oatmilk and brown sugar syrup. I liked it but the brown sugar flavor was very light so the coffee was more bitter than I was expecting. Overall a perfect place for studying or working. The service and vibes were great. They have a lot of flavors for coffee to choose from as well!
