I stumbled upon this place while trying to grab a late lunch. Customer service was excellent and they were able to accommodate me a few mere seconds before 2. I would definitely visit this place again.

This place is SO. GOOD. The coffee roast is so delicate unlike other over roasted bitter options around the area, and their breakfast sandwiches are the exact right balance of perfectly cooked, and very generous avocado! I come to town for work from DC and am so sad we don't have them there. And the owner is soooo sweet. Love it.

Prices aren't cheap, but restaurants serving Asian food, especially bulgogi, aren't cheap anymore. $15 for a Spicy pork bulgogi plate served with rice and a little side salad. I thought it was pretty good considering location and convenience. Not much else to say as this is in the downtown tunnel and I come here occasionally for a Togo order.

I visited Kona Cafe on their grand opening. What drew me in was the KINDNESS of the employees. They always welcome you with a happy smile -- and some fantastic coffee and food! The spicy pork bulgogi is my favorite on the menu, and of course, ALWAYS add the fried egg. It makes the lunch that much better. Their coffee is bold and delicious (they roast their own beans!!). Kona is a welcome addition to the tunnels, and I am thrilled that they've opened.

Great coffee or lunch spot in the tunnels with a Hawaiian/Korean selection. I got the beef bulgogi with rice, noodles and the cabbage it comes with. There is an option to add a fried egg on top! I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had, but one of the better options in the tunnels! I'll be back for coffee and to try more items.

I love this place! My fav is the chicken bulgogi. It's a lot of food for the price, chicken seasoned and sauces perfectly, fluffy rice, the japchae is light yet flavorful and even the egg is seasoned. They recently added kimbap options which are perfect for a quick yet filling lunch. My only complaint is that the Thai tea smoothie tastes nothing like Thai tea. It's good but I felt like I was drinking a delicious vanilla milkshake.

I love hitting the Kona coffee place in Katy. Awesome coffee. So it was a nice surprise to see a Kona in the downtown tunnels.Same great coffee. Kona has a frequent member card. 10 visits and you get a free coffee? No, I was told 10 visits and you get ANYTHING free. Wow. Kona is also on the Ritual app...more rewards options there. So I went back today and cashed-in 10 points for a free meal. I had the spicy pork bulgogi and loved it. Small salad, noodles, meat and rice. I was asked if I wanted to top it off with an egg. Great suggestion! The meat was perfect, just the right amount of spice and was very flavorful. The ladies who work here are very nice and helpful. Great coffee, rewards, food and service...what else do you need?

So, I've given these guys a couple tries with their morning coffee and it does not disappoint. Word to the wise, if you like McDonald's coffee, do not stop here. They don't need your bad reviews just because you don't know what real "bean juice" should taste like. Said what I said! lolI've also tried their lunch bulgogi which is not the greatest, but definitely has a great flavor to go with some of the nice smoothies they have on their menu.I'm sure I'll give them a couple more tries in my daily jaunts in the tunnels on my break from the daily grind. No pun intended!
