Kolache Bar

Man these small kolaches are the best, however, the owner is the most disrespectful liar I've ever encountered. I drove across town with my kids to get these great small kolaches and when I walk in I see half a tray of kolaches that look like they've been overcooked and there most of the morning and just as I'm looking this worker brings out a fresh tray of the kolaches I want and takes away the old kolaches. Walks to the back with both trays. Another worker comes out and I say I'd like "that kind" of kolache and he walks to the back and brings out the old tray. He's followed by the owner and I ask them if they have the other tray and the owner says these are all they have and I said I just saw the lady with the other tray of kolaches and he gets mad and says these out here are all we have. I told them I didn't want the kolaches and I wouldn't be back and he got flustered and said bye. Great kolaches, but a liar straight to your face loses a customer every time.

I would drive past Kolache Factory to come get the amazing kolaches here! I got here at around 12:30 in the afternoon so they were out of a few things but they still had a great selection to choose from. I got a pizza, sausage and cheese, Italian chicken and a Chapel Hill sausage and cheese kolache. The service here was amazing, the owner even came to say hi. They now have a customer for life!

So I decided to stop in here today and I'm so glad I did. I tried one of their sausage and cheese kolache's, and the bread was so tasty and everything was fresh and it was wonderful. But the nicest part about my visit, was the young lady at the front. Unfortunately I did not get her name but she was so nice, so friendly, and so welcoming. When you find places like this, you want to visit, and you want to go back. She even gave me a free glazed doughnut which was awesome by the way. I highly recommend visiting this kolache bar as they have many different and unique flavors available. You will be welcomed with such open arms and such a big smile and such friendly staff that it is amazing.

Came in for A kolache, left with plenty and a smile. The owner is really sweet. He has gained a new customer. I will definitely return to try some more food.

Delicious and excellent customer service! This is a family run shop with quality classics (donuts, sausage and cheese kolaches, etc.) and some awesome fresh takes! I love the chicken and waffle sandwich- much better than something similar at a drive through place. The scalloped potato kolache and red velvet cake donuts are 10/10! Very friendly sisters and dad own this shop. I've found a new donut/kolache go-to!

Sooooo good LOVE the kolaches here. Donuts are tasty too :) The owner is always so kind and welcoming. We come here every time we're in town. Highly recommend!

I work close to here and stop by often for a quick breakfast. Both the owner and the employees always have a smile and are helpful.

I came here to read the reviews to see if anyone had a similar experience as me, and sure enough, 4 months ago a man wrote a very similar review....Now that I know it wasn't just a one off, I will go ahead and share my unfortunate experience as well. I arrived around 6:30 AM to pick up donuts for my nieces birthday. I think they open at 5:30 AM, so they would have had an hour to get donuts set out for the day. But when I walked in, there were only a few available, but It was not a problem for me. I was taking my time trying to spot the donut I know my niece likes and the man said "I have more coming if you wait a minute". I said sure no problem. I was not in a rush.A few minutes later he brought out more donuts. I spotted two eclairs. He placed them behind an eclair that was previously already out. The two new ones looked bigger and fresh, the one in the front looked a little shriveled. So when he took my order I asked for two eclairs, as he turned to face the donuts, before he even grabbed one, I asked if I could have the two in the back. He turned back at me, started shaking the tongs in the air and said "what's the difference!?!" In an incredibly aggressive voice. I was kind of shocked and I stepped back and shook my head a little in disbelief. I responded and said "I don't know, those two look bigger. Is that a problem?" And he then threw down the tongs and told me to get out and that he did not want to serve me with my attitude. I actually surprised myself and started crying when I got in my car. I have never been kicked out of a business and I am always very friendly. I worked in the service industry all through school. I know it is hard work so I am always polite, patient and tip well at restaurants. This business really should work on being friendly to customers. It was an awful way to start my morning and made me feel shook up. I replayed the instance in my head a few times trying to decide if I had done something wrong, but I truly was friendly and I thought it was ok to select the donuts of your preference in a donut shop?

Absolute favorite breakfast place!! They have the BEST blueberry donuts I've ever had!! Super friendly workers and great food
