I came here with a few moms around 12:00 pm on a weekday. It's a small coffee shop so fitting 3 strollers indoors was hard. We would have sat outside but it was hot hot. I ordered the pandan coffee which was surprisingly not very flavorful but that might have been due to the ice melting. Also, and the biggest ding although isn't too big of a deal is that their selection of baked goods is pretty limited around 12:00. We were a bit disappointed although one of my mom friends went back during the weekend around 9 or 10 and said her experience was much better.I didn't try their food but seems interesting.

Let's be honest, this spot is no longer a hidden gem. Serving Cambodian munchies, iconic sweet treats, and creative coffees like "orange you glad it's cajeta", it's moreso a culinary community staple, one I feel honored to introduce to visiting friends! Their business hours are limited, and their parking is abysmal, but the second you enter their intimate wonderland of eclectic paradise and your lips touch one of their London fog rolls, you'll be assured it's 100% worth it. You may have tried this baby at West End or Segundo, but it's worth it ordering from the source. I tried a few new (to me) offerings this trip: Salty Cambodian latte (a koffeteria classic)-if you like smooth lattes this one will be your jam Beef pho kolache- this spicy little nugget is certainly worth ordering!Weekly special- milk & cookie brioche & double thick chocolate chip cookie- know the brioche has a surprise in the center :).Giant chocolate and peanut butter tart- I gave this one to a friend, and they seemed to enjoy it. All and all, while I look forward to the day that I spend less than the price of a fancy dinner on my pastry addiction, my culinary sweet tooth rates them a "hell ya"...the highest praise lol.

Such a cute khmer inspired cafe!! This spot will definitely be added to my must try lists! I ordered the tiger uppercut as my drink, which consists of thai tea and coffee and I absolutely loved it! I also ordered the Mushroom Cha Kreung which is a must try if you're new to cambodian food! I also got to try the Pistachio Baklava Croissant which was to die for. Coming to this spot hit home for me as they were playing khmer oldies music inside. Looking forward to the next time I come into town and I'm also bringing the family (:

Cute coffee shop located in east downtown. Most of their pastries sell out quickly, I went around 2pm and there weren't many left. I got the mocha chocolate bread pudding. Request to get it heated up! Loved the bread pudding, it was moist and flavorful. Portion size was huge too. The mocha flavor is very strong, while the chocolate is subtle. I wasn't expecting it.

Extremely satiating morning pastry experience. The fusion flavors offered in the pastry selection are truly one of a kind. In the current rotation they have a sesame mochi egg yolk muffin, a concoction of Asian inspired dessert flavors. The classic cinnamon roll with a healthy dose of fresh vanilla cream on top, was wonderful.I will come back!!

Parking might be a small issue.. when I went, there was paid street parking in the front. There aren't that many spots in the front. The workers were extremely nice! Service was good. Matcha latte was ok. The Tiger Uppercut was meh. I thought there was going to be a stronger thai tea taste to it, but the espresso took over. The place is nice & clean! They also have outside seating. Next time, I want to try their kolaches! The smell of the kolaches were so good

Was in Houston for the weekend for a concert, we needed to start the day off with some coffee and a quick bite to eat before we had to get in line. Koffeteria is located near the Toyota Center, so it was good that it was near by. Koffeteria popped up on my yelp and we decided to give it a try since there were so many good reviews. I wish there was parking that was free, but it's downtown, so it isn't very likely that happening. Upon walking in, it was pretty small, and the seating is very limited. We were greeted by the nice employee, she was helpful with helping us decide what was good. We got the Kolachee, Tiger uppercut and mazapandan. I was not impressed by any of the items we got. The Kolachee just seems a bit dry and maybe I don't enjoy the eggwash feeling on the top of the item. The Tiger Uppercut was not bad but it wasn't amazing. I got the Mazapandan, hoping that it would be sweet and had a nice pandan taste to it. I think it lacked in all areas.

Small space inside but has a large seating area outside which is Dog friendly! Your order at the counter then they give you a number and you get it once it's called. Baklava: this was flaky and sweet. We both thought this was good. Mushroom bun: this is good. More on the sweeter side but still goodBeef pho bun: so good!Chinese sausage taco: would pass on this. My husband was not a fanTiger Thai tea: tastes just like Thai tea! This was really good. My husband liked this more that the other drinkMake ya halo: this was pretty, it was sweet as well.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite cafes in Houston. The staff are all really friendly and the service is surprisingly quick given how busy they can get sometimes. There's some indoor seating as well as a large outdoor space that's dog-friendly. The coffee is good but the pastries really shine here. The beef pho kolache is a tried and true staple, and there's always something new and tasty to try from their seasonal options. You really can't go wrong with any of their savory or sweet treats.

Koffeteria is known for its unique pastries, drinks, and food options. I went here after adopting my first puppy(!) They have an outdoor patio which caters to pets which is the primary reason I went (although no pets are allowed inside the cafe itself). They have a multitude of unique drinks like the Tiger Uppercut, Thai Tea with a shot of espresso (pictured). I was skeptical at first but Koffeteria has seemed to nail it. Additionally, I also got the Chinese Sausage Taco for a quick bite. Typically not a fan of "Asian Fusion" flavors but, Koffeteria concoctions work and it's evident that they spend a lot of time and effort in creating and curating the menu. The service was extremely friendly however, it is evident that more than one barista is needed. Not sure if it was because it was a Sunday morning and everyone wanted to get coffee or if they are always busy however, having one barista making drinks is not ideal and slows the natural "flow of traffic." Other than that, Koffeteria is definitely on my must visit again list!
