Cute little place, oddly smelled of pizza, but we settled into a spot at the bar and were comfortable for a drink while we waited for sushi to go. We stuck with basic rolls and all were very good. Our bartender was serving tables in addition to working the bar, so he was a bit slow to get our drinks, but another friendly person stepped in and happily helped out.The drink menu looked phenomenal and I had a hard time deciding, but ultimately went with a Tito & Germaine, mostly due to the clever name, but also because it sounded good. Good is a severe understatement. This was one of the very best drinks I have had in my life. I tired to plan another visit into our trip and wasn't able to make it work, but I would absolutely go back just for this drink.

I love the vibe and staff at this place. Their hot pot is good, but their happy hour is where it's at. Tons of izakaya and sushi options and yummy saketinis. Plus it's hard to find a happy hour that goes this late - til 630!!!

Grabbed dinner with a few friends on a snowy Denver evening. You have to get lucky with LoHi parking and fortunately I did, right across the street! We had reservations and got seated before the restaurant became super packed. I got a Kobe An sushi roll and the Ramen Slider. Both (as well as service) were just okay. We didn't even finish the food we got. Love the cozy vibes overall, though. I'm unimpressed by most sushi in Denver but willing to try everything!

Visited a few days ago with some friends. Overall, location was nice and clean (parking is an absolute headache fyi, just something to be aware of). Our server was very polite. A friend tried the ramen burger and had mixed thoughts. While the meat itself was good, the noodle buns were rather flavorless and unappealing. I asked him if he would order this again, and he said no. I didn't have one, but it definitely is visually interesting, so there's that. We shared a hot pot and it was pretty easy. Meat, veggies, and noodles come out, cook them in the broth, and enjoy. I did like that we had Individual sauce bowls, but I wished there was a station to create our own or customize it a little. Overall, good spot. Not my preference, but this is a cute little location and the food is good.

Second time here because we love it so much. I went last night with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary! This time we even got sushi but we were so hungry I forgot to even take a picture of it. We got the Hot Tokyo roll and my boyfriend claims that it was "the best sushi roll he's ever eaten". I thought it was very good too, however I've had some really good sushi it's hard to compare them all!! Great vibes in there with the dim lights as always, and the shabu shabu never disappoints. We got ribeye and wagyu and they are just melt in your mouth amazing. We will probably be frequent flyers in the winter when it gets cold for sure.

Such a cute, intimate space with delicious food. I've been twice & had excellent meals both times. It's street parking, but shouldn't be too hard to find a spot. I do recommend a reservation as the restaurant is small. I've been once for happy hour & apps. I started with the Love & Pain gin cocktail.... Amazing!! One of the best gin cocktails I've had! For happy hour we had edamame, krab sunomono, bronco roll, chicken karaage, hot tokoyo & a few other rolls. Everything was great!! I doubt there's anything on the menu that I wouldn't like. The second time we came we did the hot pot. We did the Shabu shabu with miso broth, ribeye, sirloin & shrimp, and pork. The steaks were my favorite - and I did not prefer the shrimp. The broth was amazing. The noodles were delicious. We had the best time cooking and eating. Can't wait to come back!

This is a great spot to enjoy a cozy dinner with friends. I only had shabu shabu, so I can't really give feedback on that part of the menu, but my friend liked the sushi she ordered. The ramen slider was super rich and filling, if you are not really hungry I would share that between friends. The shabu shabu was incredibly filling, but apparently some VERY hungry people order the "endless" or bottom less portion which I can not imagine. I ordered wagyu chuck. They give you a large portion of rolled up slightly frozen thin slices. The meat tasted like it was a quality cut. Definitely will return! Also our service was excellent. Cameron was great!

What an amazing experience we received from Kobe An LoHi. The food was impecable, the service was second to none and the ambiance was superb!!! I can't stress how amazing this restaurant experience was!! I came back a week later and met the owner's Marco and Michelle and they were beyond gracious!!! I will be returning on a regular basis and you should be too!!!

I have been going to Kobe An since I was a child at the Lakewood location. We visit the new location monthly, and the food and ambiance have always been among our favorites.Tonight, we discovered that they have been adding a service charge without disclosing it. While I respect the practice and believe in servers earning at least 20%, I am frustrated by the lack of transparency and communication. This should have been communicated through a conversation with our server, not something we had to discover by reviewing the check. When dining at a nice restaurant, a party of two should not have to check for added gratuity unless it is a policy for the entire establishment. The lack of communication is very discouraging and left us with a poor experience.I hope they change their communication approach, as this affects the overall dining environment and has tainted our trust in this establishment.
