Koala Kolache

To summarize my experience here, the food and staff are FANTASTIC! My husband and I tried this location for the first time this week for his birthday breakfast, and we tried multiple items including the kolache (i.e., Bean Enchilada, Brisket, Pizza, Jalapeño Popper, and Sausage and Gravy) and cookie butter cinnamon roll. The location was unassuming, but we were so happy with our decision to try them. All of the menu items are made from scratch and are so fresh and flavorful! They warmed the items for us, and they were the perfect temperature - they even stayed warm until we ate some at home! Our personal favorites were the Bean Enchilada and Brisket kolache. Also, the service was fantastic! We met V and Wendy, and they were gracious and fun to talk to. V provided excellent recommendations that ended up being our favorites. If you are thinking about giving Koala Kolache a try, do it! You will not regret it.

Cannot say enough good things about their cinnamon rolls. The best I've ever had! Owner and staff is so welcoming and genuine. Pay attention to the hours as they're not open every day but worth the wait.

I recently discovered this hidden gem and was blown away by the delicious food and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner is a true gem and goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home.Let's talk about the kolaches - they are out of this world! The sausage & cheese, egg & breakfast sausage, and sausage & gravy kolaches are all must-tries. The bread is perfectly baked, with a delightful texture and mouthwatering flavor.But be warned - these kolaches sell out fast! So make sure you arrive early to grab your favorites. If you have a sweet tooth, go for the giant cinnamon rolls. They're not only massive, but they're also incredibly tasty and worth every calorie.

Simply the best kolaches in Houston and it's not really even a competition. Many different unique flavors and every kolache that I have tried has been delicious but I do wish they had a few more fruit flavors! They use very high quality ingredients and you can literally taste it in every bite. Location is a bit out of the way but in a nice quiet area. Grab some kolaches and enjoy a walk at the many parks in the area. I just wish they were open for more than 3 days a week because I am always craving it!! Owner is very friendly and welcoming.

You just have to eat the cronuts!! Croissant meets glazed donut! They're sinful. But their glazed donuts are good too. So far we haven't had anything we don't like. Good kolaches too!

The owner is incredibly friendly and kind. She was very welcoming to my wife, myself, and 17 month old as it was our first time here, we were visiting from out of state. We told her that we wanted a cinnamon roll and wow were they amazing! Anyone going here MUST try the cookie butter cinnamon roll, can't say enough about this! We also tried the pecan cinnamon roll which was delicious. Support this business!

V is the best. Her products are fresh, unique, delicious, and always the highest of quality. My mom, who prides herself on her homemade cinnamon rolls, relinquishes her title of best to V.It's a blessing and a curse that Koala is right around the corner from our house...it's equal parts convenient and tempting! Whenever our sons come to town to visit, they know there will be a Koala breakfast board awaiting them in our kitchen!

They are never open. I used to enjoy their clutches but everytime I stop they are closed.

Very good traditional Czech kolaches as well as new and different flavors. Cinnamon rolls are delicious too.
