My wife and I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday while on our trip to Denver, CO. When she asked what I wanted for my birthday, I told her Korean food, so I found this spot and it did not disappoint. Initially, we thought it was far from our hotel, so we took an Uber there, but after the meal, we decided to walk back to get some exercise after enjoying all the delicious food. The restaurant offers a wide variety of side dishes, though I was a little disappointed that they didn't have cucumber kimchi, which is one of my favorites. When we looked over the menu, we were overwhelmed by the options it was a lot of food for just the two of us. We ended up going with the spicy pork and Kalbi ribs, which were both incredible but definitely more than we could handle. Neither of us finished our rice, which is rare for us, especially coming from Texas, where we usually clean our plates. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. It wasn't too busy when we went, but it still had a lively energy. The staff were super friendly and did a great job explaining the dishes to us.One of the things I loved was the setup of the tables. The grill did an amazing job of keeping the smoke contained, so they didn't need the usual overhead fans to clear it out. This was, by far, the closest thing to authentic Korean food I've had since my time in the military when I was stationed in South Korea.

Came here for dinner because we wanted some Korean BBQ and it was close to our hotel. We used to live in Manhattan, so we have a high standard for Korean food. I think if this place would be in NYC, would rate it lower. Service was friendly and attentive, they helped us cook and brought refills. It is very laid back place with some TVs on background playing Korean pop and some soccer. They also have outdoor seating. We had spicy chicken and spicy shrimp bbq, and food was pretty decent I would say but nothing amazing. Also was pricey especially considering that place is not upscale at all inside. Overall pretty ok experience.

Cannot overemphasize how pleased I was with this $16 lunch plate from Kkoki. Hearty portion of bulgogi beef, a couple of mandu, rice and excellent banchans. Left with a happy belly for sure. Banchans: 5/5 crunchy, tangy, spicy, nailed itMandu: 4/5 I've had richer flavors in mandu but they were great Bulgogi: 4.5/5 fresh, hot, saucy, maybe a little on the dry side, but delicious Will be back!

Been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally made it there after GABF! Everything was delicious. We got a Korean BBQ combo to share, plus a free appetizers and the galbi tang. Great place for a delicious meal downtown. They had TVs, so we didn't have to choose between getting dinner and watching the game. Very friendly and helpful service.

Run don't walk over to Kkoki for a hidden gem of Korean food nestled in downtown Denver. This location is just in front of Confluence park with free parking along Little Raven St. I was thrilled to see that this spot was being used by a new Korean BBQ restaurant, which has a variety of lunch specials that are great value for a team lunch or casual group lunch. They're not shy with their side dishes, providing you a nice variety of veggies, pickled sides, fish cakes, and authentic kimchi. I ordered the seafood pajeon (a savory Korean style pancake that's loaded with veggies and seafood) as well as the bulgogi combo that came with a plentiful amount of sides and two fried dumplings. I thought the meal was a steal- lots of great options and enough for leftovers for the next day. Above all, the owners are absolute gems. Super attentive and kind, they make you feel right at home. Definitely give this spot a try- as a Korean living in Denver, I'll definitely be back to this spot.

Tried for the first time, just opened 3 mo ago, family owned, pleasantly surprised! 4 people we stuffed ourselves with combo A (bulgogi, spicy pork, unmarinated brisket)+ LA Galbi a la carte+ yookejang (spicy beef stew)total came out to around $200 including tip. Pros - - Authentic Korean taste- Really friendly staff and good service (Korean restaurants are notorious for ignoring you until you push the bell for service, this staff checked on us every 5-10 minutes)- clean interior- location- nice to have a Korean joint more central to Denver instead of having to go all the way to Aurora! - menu has plenty of non-bbq options if you want variety - Smokeless grill - this is huge! Usually kbbq places are super smoky or have huge noisy vents above each table and you go home and clothes smell like meat but I noticed their grills have built in fans, so smoke is minimal Cons - - because location is more central, parking can be harder. No lot so look for street parking - price? Initially glance prices seem high but it's similar to other bbq places, and price of meat overall has gone up quite a bit since the pandemic so just go with expectations that it won't be cheap (there are menu pics already posted so you can see them before you go).

I ordered the lunch special here the other day, and it was very tasty. I ordered the Beef Bulgogi Combo Plate 소불고기 콤보, which was a sweet but savory marinated beef served with side of rice, salad, and fried dumplings. The combo plate was incredibly generously sized, so much so that I only ate half one day, and half the next. I've never had this style of food before, however it was very good - incredibly dynamic flavors, the meat was very tender, and the veggies were very good, along with the dumplings. The sides that come with it are different pickled things and kimchi, and were a great accompaniment. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Came for dinner after a great show. It was pretty packed but they seated us after a quick wait. Ordered some samgyupsal, and LA Kalbi. The staff was so friendly, although sometimes there was a bit of a wait if you needed to ask for anything extra like lettuce. We ordered the Peach Canmak and it was goooood. The cheesy corn was on point and the meat was perfectly marinated and tender. Was nice to find a good korean bbq place in Downtown Denver without having to go to Aurora. Will be back again.

Good Korean kbbq place in the heart of LoDo! They just opened and it's a good place for kbbq and drinks with friends or for a date. The food tastes like homemade Korean food. We got the lunch special. The service is great! They are so nice and friendly and make you feel taken care of. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
