Sitting here waiting on a friend, and see a couple embracing ... and I mean an EMBRACE... purse dripped on the sidewalk embrace.Great people watching seat near the door. The crowds just keep walking by. Traffic at the intersection is fun to watch, especially when those drivers gridlock the place.The beer is cold, easy parking and different music in the 1MCFriday is just starting and is looking fun.Drop by Kirbys for brews and views.

There is no food here. They do have food trucks. However, when it is slammed for any sports game (like the playoffs today), the trucks get very backed up and it's a SUPER long wait for the food. It's very much an ice house! If you want to just drink and watch some sports, this is great for you! But I tend to get hungry, so this wasn't the best for me.

Huge venue for watching the game, or playing games, but food? One truck? Seriously? During Saturday?One star sad.However bar was fantastic with professional attractive bartenders which, after some encouragement, could banter.

About a month ago we met some friends who took us to Kirby Ice House at the Woodlands. We were only in town for one evening and this location provided a very casual environment with a quick bite to eat at the food trucks. The guys grabbed us a cocktail (a margarita for me) from the large bar inside and some chips and guacamole from the food truck. We found a casual, clean and comfortable place to sit in order to have a conversation.They had one of the sports games playing on the large screen, which was visible from any seat on the large outdoor deck. It would be great if they had a larger variety of food carts (there was only one open the night we were there). I would come back again for a casual hang out.

Funny dog friendly misters and big screens outside.If you had to deal with the disrespectful heat in Houston the last couple of months and find yourself in the Woodlands then Kirby Ice House will be a welcome respite. The space is huge, the greeters are friendly, the bar staff is plenty and the beer is cold. The only thing I did not realize is that this is your original type of Ice House which means no food served, but wait.....Food Trucks are on the premises toward the rear patio area so no worries. You can also order food to be delivered or bring your own food. A nice place to hang out during some football, baseball, pickleball, tennis ball (you get the point) games and catch up with friends. Fans all around so you will feel a breeze.

Kirby Ice House is already one of my favorite watering holes in Houston, but Kirby Ice House in the Woodlands kicked it up a whole other notch! This place is gigantic. Parking is plentiful with a parking lot right there or you have the option of street parking around the area as well. The other two locations are set up the same way on different scales, but this location has a little bit of it's own character. Walking in, you got high ceilings and the place just keeps going all the way through. What sets this place apart compared to any other bar in Texas (yes I said Texas), is that they have the longest bar in the state. It starts at the front of the establishment and just keeps going about the length of the place. I've seen the longest in the country, but this one is pretty awesome. The staff was kind of just going with the flow, straight business. I get it, it's busy. I come to quench my thirst and they have a great selection of beer on tap as well as bottles. They got all the liquor needed to make your favorite cocktail as well as a few tasty frozen selections. Not only is the inside spacious, but they have a nice sized patio outside as well with lots of screens to watch sporting events. For food, like the other locations, they have different food trucks set up throughout the week if the hunger pangs hit.If this place was closer to home, I would be here alot. It's big enough to handle your whole squad. I will be back if in the area.

Came here on Wednesday eve with a buddy for happy hour. Had no clue it was steak night in the food zone so I was in for a pleasant surprise. Let's start off with the drinks since that's this spot's bread & butter.They have a really good selection of on tap beers & will let you try anything. Because happy hour had specials on all Texas brews, I stayed in the Texas beers for the eve. I grabbed a Galveston Bay Blueberry Blonde, an Austin Eastciders Blood Orange Cider & something else the waitress suggested to me that I can recall. All were pretty good.My only gripe with this place which is why I give it 4 stars is that I'm not a big fan of the service. Our waitress Rihanna was nice & all but it felt like she was hounding us. If I had less than 1/2 of my glass left, she was coming to the table asking what we wanted next. I get it; that's your bread & butter. I just hate feeling pressured. Otherwise, this spot is decent.Side note: if you come on a Wednesday eve for steak night, the steak is top notch! The steak was amazing, perfectly cooked as I requested, nice searing & perfectly seasoned. It easily earned its way into the top 7 steaks I've had in my life. Plan to come on a Wednesday eve & you won't be disappointed.

Fabulously huge. Something is going on on some TV for any sports fan. Not sure of the food situation, but they did have a food truck outside, not sure, but probably in most days they have more than one. We cannot wait to go back.I WOULD RECOMMEND

My finance and I came there last week for drinks Elysse was so nice and so fun and gave us tons of fun recommendations. Cool spot if you are looking for a fun good environment.

I love Kirby Ice House!! There is always plenty of parking and seating and the service is always good and relatively fast. They have a lot of good happy hour deals during the weekdays. There is a big grassy area with a large screen that usually has Houston sports playing. There is also cornhole and other lawn games.Usually when I come, I get the Froses, which area always delicious and relatively inexpensive. All in all, this is a great bar for a casual drink (or several)!
