Cool place, love the atmosphere. WAY overpriced. Good as maybe a starter for a pub crawl.

Tied for first place as my favorite Kemah bar! The location is great. We love the bartenders- especially Michelle, Ona and Suzie!! The drinks are well priced and the tacos that they have sometimes on weekends are cheap and delicious, plus cooked right in front of you. There is so much entertainment including a giant chess board on the lawn. They now have a firepit with porch swings surrounding it and built in booths on the patio. It's the perfect combination of upscale but relaxed and I always see a ton of old friends or make friends while I'm there.Ps. Security is on point-we love Deon!

Kipp rose has such a cool vibe! Decor is great. Lots of inside and outside space. Drinks and service were on point! Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty but so was Kemah. It's a perfect hangout spot w friends.

January 15, 2022One of the stops on the Kemah Pub crawl line up tonight. I really liked it. Huge. Inside. Outside.It was 38 degrees outside so they had heaters out there. The place was packed. Saw some co-workers from Galveston. Decor was nautical, pirate, strobe lights, ocean, fish, chandeliers They had hookah's, DJ, fresh street tacos (3 for $10)I'd prefer to come here during the day and chillNight time after 10p is a younger crowd and it gets packed

I've only been barhopping in Kemah once but I definitely need to do it more often. Back in December, Kipp Rose was one of the stops on a Saturday evening. This Irish pub has both an indoor area and a patio. We hung out on the patio since the weather was nice and took advantage of their giant chess.

Fun bar with an outdoor patio! Kipp is walking distance from the Kemah Boardwalk historic district so I always stop by for a cold drink. The pool table is always broken which is disappointing. But I had an amazing Long Island here. The crowd gets kinda rowdy on Saturday nights.

Y'all..IDK what to even say about this place. Maybe it was the people but my last experience here was odd.Initially I loved the entire venue, indoor and outdoor bar with a small taco stand outside for the tipsy tourbadors and drunken dolls to have a bite after last call. Everyone was nice, chilled on a perfect Spring day ordered a beer and worked myself outside on their patio and sat on their rocking chair after I did a couple of my dance moves inside to cool off and that is when it started getting bad.As I enjoyed the lovely breeze rocking on the chair with my beer on my hand all of a sudden I hear bottles breaking, men cursing and people running....BAR FIGHT! I was alerted and trying to figure out what was happening but long story short two men argued and then that was all, no one was kicked out. Yup, like nothing ever happened. Good thing? I am not sure but it made me feel a little uneasy that there was no consequences and no one was kicked out so I just left. This place is usually a great place to come but this time I was so confused.

I was a part of a group in town for a meeting and we were looking for something fun to do by the water. This looked like a fun area, so we followed the music to find the Kipp Rose. This funky place was low key but it was early on a Thursday. We had a good time anyway, just hanging outside and playing bags. Seemed like there were some biting i sects in the fake grass, and it would have been nice to have a waitress come by to check on us. Im assuming on busier nights they probably have more staff. Overall, a fun place to have some drinks and fun if you are in the area.

Didn't have food. The DJ was terrible, seemed like it was one big TikTok thing changing songs every 20 seconds at best. Ambiance, inside bar--meh, the bartenders (4?) were so into themselves and selfies you could barely get a drink--and it was a small bar-- The place did however, seem to have a large outdoor space with a lot of games and large TV's. Prob a great place during the day or for a game--i didn't really like it for a Friday night.

What a joke! Some dude with "security" written on his shirt asked to check my bag. Ok dude, whatever. Meanwhile, people are walking up the handicapped ramp completely unbothered. Then when we got inside, my husband gave them our Apple Card. They said they couldn't accept it because it didn't have numbers on it. No lie, the bartender got her manager to confirm. They did. Welcome to 2023 Kipp Rose. Get with the program. Idiots!!!
