First I love the sauce of the Chinese pizza! It's pan fried scallion doug if you wonder what is Chinese pizza or so called Chinese pancake .The lamb wasn't very gamy like the other places, and surprisinglythey have duck meat! If would have been better if the duck were softer though!Dining experience was great but when I ordered chrysanthemum tea the waitress tried to fooled me with a pot of green tea(joking), she changed it right after I told her though!

The service is great. The food has gone down hill. Honestly the beef skewers had to thrown out. Nothing was fresh. NOT ONE THING. Very disappointing.

Please do not pay attention to the few negative reviews below. Try it yourself and be the judge. We have been coming here for about 15 years or more through different owners (a lovely woman owned it before, but she tragically died at a young age. Everything we had was so delicious and so fairly priced. (The people complaining about the slight increase in prices apparently have not been to a supermarket or grocery store in recent months.) It used to have a liquor license but is now BYOB, saving more money for customers. And the two young servers were charming and friendly. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it took quite a while for the food to come out. That was because there were so many takeout orders, and the kitchen was overtaxed, but it was worth waiting for.Highly recommended!

Avoid. Sad to leave this review but I want to save you from wasting your money. I haven't been here in a few years, but I remembered it being pretty good. Since my go-to Yu Hsiang closed and I've been craving Chinese takeout I thought I'd give kings garden another chance. The reviewers who have said the food has gone downhill are 1000% correct, in fact that's an understatement. The restaurant was completely empty when I picked up my food and mine was the only order waiting, so that was kind of a bad sign. Let me say I am the kind of person who never throws food out. When I read reviews saying something was inedible and they threw it out I always think how bad could it be? But I literally could not eat this food, it was too gross. A buddhas delight is tofu and vegetables and I don't know how you mess that up. The only flavor was salt but the part that made it inedible was the sauce, unevenly thickened but gloopy and gross in all the wrong ways. It was really nasty to eat. The spring roll had a strange off taste so I didn't feel safe finishing it. I only ate as much of the meal as I did because I was hungry, but I'm regretting that now :( Still on the hunt for good Chinese food in the area!

I'm not a big fan of Chinese food but after eating at this place I must say I been missing out the foot was fresh and was hot when I got home I was late picking up and ordering and they took my order anyway and waited for my arrival to pickup but the flavors was on point and was described to a tee on how it will be served I can absolutely say I'll be back sooner then expected and recommend them highly based off my first meal which was the yen yang chicken absolutely good

Quick service for a sit down restaurant. The menu was limited with entree options. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered and our food came out about 15 minutes later. I ordered the Shrimp with Honey Walnuts. It came with a plate of white rice for the table to share. The shrimp was great and it also came with broccoli. The menu unfortunately didn't have many options for entrees or appetizers. Also, we were unable to swap the white rice for fried rice. A decent restaurant with quick service.

First time getting take out from here will absolutely be the last. The "special" dumplings were just dumplings, the Mongolian beef had absolutely no flavor to it whatsoever, and the fried rice was marginally passable, with rubbery chicken and little flavor. And all very expensive! There wasn't a single person in the restaurant but the phone was ringing off the hook, so someone is eating here but I'm not sure who. Not straying from New Leaf anymore.

Shamed to admit it but I'm leaving this bad review after our first time. And I've never left a one star review in 15 years. The truth is, we had been getting amazing takeout from yu hsiang since we moved in to this neighborhood. When they were forced out we lost our "local neighborhood Chinese"-- we decided to try a new spot. Not that great and prices went up like crazy recently because I was ordering off a menu onYelp from 1 year ago but each dish was +2-4 dollars. I ordered hot and sour (no contents, just very salty broth), crab Rangoon (four pieces that were legitimately empty of any filling... I lifted them and they were uncharacteristically light and flavorless)... Mongolian lamb that was 70% button mushrooms and a sauce that was so salty that my salt-happy palate couldn't even make it through. I love salt. It was so salty. And I'm almost certain they used instant base in here instead of just making a nice sauce with fresh ingredients. And I could barely find any lamb. I swear to god I am not trying to be a dick, I have been in the restaurant biz for 20 years-- but for the $60 I paid I wouldn't ever give them a second shot-- and for inside the chestnut hill hotel which also hosts restaurants that are serving $50+ entrees, not to mention in the affluent area of chestnut hill alone, this restaurant is a tremendous disappointment... and if you're the owners, im sorry you have to see this, and I wanted to call to ask for my money back, something that, again, with 20 years in the service industry I have never ever ever done.

I believe this restaurant has changed hands over the last year or so. We used to enjoy the food but tonight we ordered a meal that cost us $62 and we agreed it was practically inedible. Needless to say, we won't be ordering here again. And did I mention the prices increased about 25%? A huge disappointment l
