King's Pizza & Pasta

Based on Yelp and Google reviews I was expecting a bang for my buck. Unfortunately, my expectations were to set to high. The pizza order was correct but the dough was plenty and the cheese was rubbery. The chicken tender was the thickness of a highlighter. If I visit Houston again I'll have to give this place a hard pass. Oh yeah i almost forgot the condition of the pizza upon delivery. I think my pizza was dropped on it's side.

got a large supreme with fried mushrooms, came with fries and everything was really good the damn pizza dough was good af not like most that get stale the next day, yes the next day it was still good af for my first time trying it

February 9th is National Pizza Day, a holiday for one of my all-time favorite food. Like Cinco de Mayo but for tequila. Cinco de Mayo is not a tequila holiday? Well that's news to me. What did I do on National Pizza Day? Pizza 1: I picked my kids favorite pizza which they have several times a week. I AM THAT MOTHER. I don't like whiney kids; just give them what they want. Little Caesar's, five dollar hot and ready's, are my favorite too because it leaves me with shopping money. Where can you feed a family of 4 on $11 and change? (I double dog dare you to find some other place for me) Pizza 2: I also picked a new pizza that a friend had just raved about on Facebook and just happen to be the same distance from us as our regular joint (LC) in a different direction, King's Pizza on Edgebrook, where three cities meet, Houston, South Houston, and Pasadena. (Come to think of it (LC is right on the border as well of the three cities, its complicated take my word for it)Put it on your calendar because if you keep up with the Chavez's, we never agree. NOT EVER, until today. We are not fans of King's Pizza. First of all, if all I am having on my pizza is pepperoni, it better have pepperoni in every bite. It was good, just didn't beat the cheaper version of Little Caesar's. The sauce wasn't as good either. That's just the food. Little C: No wait time it's hot and readyKings Pizza: They said 10 minutes I was there 20Little C: It may not be clean, what I don't know won't kill me, it looks cleanKing's Pizza: It looked filthy and smelled like truck stops restroom. (I provided a picture of the "employees only" door, it's the first thing you see when you walk in) Little C: I have never had a complaint about their service here, and we have been going for many, many, many years.King's Pizza: I wanted to get out of there so bad. All she had to do was close my pizza box and hand it to me but she answered the phone, left my pizza in the box with lid open, until she finished her two phone calls. TWO, 1 on her cell, and 2, a business call, phone on each ear. Multi-task earns you one star. The business call was a complaint about a delivery that had not arrived yet. The entire conversation I was thinking: "Just close the box and give it to me, close the box. Give me my ******* Pizza! I want to leave! NO STARS FOR YOU!"Hey, it's the hood and it has fantastic reviews from folks I am sure don't venture out to the better places in life. A few suggestions: Luna, Bombay, Piola, Dolce Vita, Your Pie (just a few)I am not like the rest and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all. A family that eats together stays together. My family of 4 will stick to our cheap 5 dollar hot and ready from Little Caesar's!

So today I was on Fairmont and my husband wanted some pizza. Normally we go to spankys, but today I looked on Yelp, and noticed this place had a better rating than spankys. So I decided to give them a try. Not only was it very reasonably priced, but it was so delicious. It wasn't too greasy , or too thick. It looked so fresh and it was just super delicious. Normally when I eat pizza, I usually feel bloated and it upsets my stomach. This pizza didn't make me feel that way. I'm so glad I stopped by and gave it a try. I will definitely be stopping by when we want pizza. No more spankys that's for sure.

Left a flier on my door so I thought I would give them a try. So I got some food for a delivery order and never got my food. After over an hour of waiting I called and they didn't know what I had ordered and they said "oh yeah the driver will leave in a couple minutes." I canceled my order, what a waste of time.

Pizza is larger than average and great for the price. When in the area, we like to order a large pizza with wings and their Orders are quick and delicious. I appreciate the "in God we trust" American flag on their pizza boxes.

I really liked this place. I ignored the lack of ac. I enjoyed the pizza the other guy is nice, but this guy really upset me. I asked him a simple question. I asked what they pay the pizza drivers. Easy right? Well he told me 8 dollars. So I informed him that door dash pays 14 a hour minimum plus tips. He then asked me what I wanted. I told him I was waiting for my pizza to be ready and left because that was a rude question. He followed me to fight with me in the other part of the store...this guy is ridiculous....

Ordered the ocean delight, wow was soooo good. I wish we had this place in El Paso. The strawberry cheesecake was also good. Thanks for delivery right before you guys closed.

The owners son is a rude and lazy kid who would not take our order. He would mot substitute anything not even for an up charge. When I asked him to call his father he said no I could take my business else where. The food is not all that great especially if I have to take that rudeness, he just lost a customer of over 10 years.

I really enjoyed the pizza and cheese sticks, pizza wise its definitely way up there. It wasn't too doughy or saucy, it was really well balanced and baked just right. I had a strawberry cheesecake that was frozen but still good after letting it thaw for a bit. The wings were definitely below mid, not enough sauce or hotness. Overall definitely enjoyed the food and will be coming back. The price was also very reasonable, not super cheap but for what we got definitely alright. Oh but the tomato sauce for the cheese sticks was sweet, not bad but different.
