Kim Cafe

I must've had bad luck because this is NOT as good as what the reviews say it is. The Mongolian chicken and fried rice was bland, the rice was way too firm as if it was more than a day old, the crab puffs are burnt, and the egg drop soup is too watery. I really don't like giving bad reviews because I like to support small and local businesses however, spending $20 for lunch and receiving this kind of food I can't justify supporting Kim Cafe. I ordered the food online and is about 10 minutes from where I work. I waited a bit, about 10-15 minutes to go pick it up and when I got there it still took another 15-20 minutes to get my order. If the place was busy I could understand a longer wait time but there was noone in there. I don't recommend them at all. I took a few bites of everything and that was it. I had no interest in eating more. It's very rare me doing that which says a lot about my experience. Don't waste your money, it's not worth it.

Food was amazingly delicious!! Kim cafe is very small hideaway off bissonette right behind papas bbq. Service was great she always had a smile and very nice. Great place in do recommend!!

Reviews led us astray this time. This place is a small hole in the wall which isn't a deal breaker for us....but it's pretty grungy. My wife went with the happy family lunch combo, comes with your choice of soup, we picked wonton....good broth but the wontons were not. The crab rangoon was very good, the miniscule egg roll was average. I got the General Tso's chicken lunch special. The chicken had little breading which is a good thing but it was very dry and chewy. The venetian blinds by our table were covered in a thick layer of dust, the soy sauce container on our table had stuff stuck to the side of it. I love supporting mom n pop places but it's a no for this place.

Looks can be deceiving but I went with the Yelp reviews...Went to Kim Cafe for lunch and must say the place could definitely use an update but understandable. The food was a little over cooked (chicken) and sauce watery and did not stick to chicken (sesame chicken).I would recommend other Chinese's restaurants unfortunately...

General Tso 's Chicken is very delicious ,good price and good service , lunch plate just 7.95!Now there is a special chicken lo mein only 8.25!big one!

The only thing that's nice about this place is the gentleman that was serving the food was very nice. But I'm sorry to say, but the food was not great and it's too expensive

FYI. I'm not a food blogger. This is a small place. Seems to be a mom and pop restaurant. That's probably why my food was sooo good. The lo mein was great. Not the usual burnt tasting soy sauce mixture. The vegetable egg rolls were also good. Not greasy and had a crunch to them. Not soggy or mushy. The prices good. And they had a couple of lunch specials that were 5 and $6. Unheard of. Don't go for the ambience. Go for the food.

They are open from 11 am - 9 pm weekly and on Saturday and Sunday 11 to 8 pm. Under New Management! Delivery available, calls in orders, Door dash . It's buy one get one 50% off on each order. Great place!

The food is delicious and very reasonable prices. I really recommend Kim Cafe.
