Its a small venue yet regularly, ie. 5 days a week there ate cackling coffee klatches that sit for hours amd hours cackling, laughing nonstop that are so loud that make it unbearable. To boot, many customers are typically very obnoxoous..think norristown no/low class ghetto behaviour.The staff are very friendly,but the noise levels are out of control. It is a little cramped for covid settings, but they are trying to make ends meet at this point. So so say go when you are at a comfort level to do so. The staff was so nice and helpful including the owners. The owners bust their bootie just as much as their staff which is appreciated. Our food came out so fast. Everything was delicious no complaints about food. Pricing was also very reasonable especially for breakfast. I think they are only open for breakfast and lunch due to covid. But, double check that. The owner comes over to check and make sure everything is OK, but everyone usually knows his name. Nothing fancy, just good old fashion food. You can relax and talk as you were never hurried. My wife and I believe wholeheartedly in supporting small businesses during this time we are all living in but when you spend 50 dollars for 2 people, we're expecting the food to at least be hot. Sadly it was far from that and the food itself wasn't good at all. The scrapple was hard, burnt to crisp, mind you I put salt on everything (which isn't healthy I know) but even this was too salty for me! So after a few bites it was hands down the worst scrapple I've ever had. The hash browns had absolutely no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. It was undercooked, cold and easily the top 2 worst i've ever had. My omelet was over cooked, and had barely had a single slice of cheese in it. All of this was captured on video in the event relatives of the owners, family friends or regulars attempt to troll or respond in defense of the restaurant. (I'm not having any of that nonsense so I covered myself) So I hope that this review encourages you to step your game up because if I hear the "we were busy" excuse, that's still unacceptable!! My wife and I ordered food from Collegville Pizza and bakery yesterday for the first time at lunch and dinner time and they were JAMMED PACKED!! But everything came out nice and hot and delicious! Oh and lastly, we drove back to the hotel so it's equivalent to having it delivered!

Little side of the road diner that caught my eye. Think the building was an old Pizza Hut. When you enter you see the familiar claw machine game in the lobby area, the smell of breakfast food and senior citizens hits the nostrils. You know you're in a good little family diner. There is a large dining room and we were seated at a booth right away. The best part was the server asked for our drinks right when he sat us, some places make you wait forever to even put drinks in. Diner OJ and coffee standard but good. This place has the "hangover" or no judgement if your kids make a bit of a mess vibe and I love it. Our server was very attentive and friendly and our food came out quickly and how we ordered it. Sometimes you take for granted just getting it right. The sausage gravy over biscuits were solid. I added some over medium eggs on top and a side of scrapple. You could tell it's all homemade in the sense it's not overly seasoned or processed food. Easy on the stomach and somewhere you could go a million times and get the same quality. This will probably always be a side of the road gem but for us lucky enough to stumble onto it, we'll keep it that way. The owner mentioned they've been there for 11 years and thanked us for going in. Just felt like home a little. Don't go here looking for a fancy pants artisanal something but if you just want to wear your pjs and get some food, this unpretentious little hut of food and family will do you good.
