Absolutely love Kennedy rooftop! Definitely a hidden gem when it comes to Chicago rooftops... have been a few times and this visit was nothing short of amazing! Beautiful views of the entire city, never too packed, and vibes are always 10/10. Plenty of different seating options including a cozy couch area with fire pits, which has made it perfect for spring and fall time visits. Went for a dinner this go around and enjoyed a delicious array of dishes including whipped mozzarella dip, a peach and salami flatbread, a chicken berry salad, sweet potato waffle fries and harissa chicken kebabs. Everything was absolutely delicious and would order any of the dishes again. The peach and salami flatbread was definitely a favorite- a very unique combination and so flavorful!! The sweet potato fries were perfectly crunchy and the berry salad offered a unique blend of nuts and berries finished with sweet mango vinaigrette. Kennedy rooftop always does an outstanding job with their menu, and the service is always impeccable. Can't recommend Kennedy rooftop enough and can't wait to go back!

Nice rooftop with great views. We went during happy hour and ordered drinks and the margarita flatbread. The drinks were great especially the coconut cranberry mojito! We were having dinner somewhere else so we just ordered the flatbread to share. It was 4 of us and the flatbread was just 1 piece of toast cut up. The marinara sauce and cheese was great but too small a portion, even for a shareable appetizer. They have some high top seating that blocks the views when people are seated there. That was really the only negative. I'm from out of town and would return again.

The Doctor, Queen and I were looking for something to do that didn't involve dealing with the traffic and/or neighborhood street festivals. Because the day was going to be a very nice one, I wanted to find someplace that had outdoor seating, but not too close to any neighborhood festivities. I went to my trusty Yelp app and came across this place.I must say this was a good find for us. Located on the seventh floor of the Hyatt Place Wicker Park, the Kennedy Rooftop hosts a magnificent view of the city. This is definitely a hidden gem in Wicker Park. I was not expecting to find this on Ashland and North Ave.The space itself is very engaging and of a nice size. There is a small bar area and plenty of seating, under a covered rooftop as well as in open space. The tables were spaced far enough apart so it didn't feel like we were sitting on top of the table next to us. In the open areas , there were additional sofas, tables, and chairs. The space is definitely large enough to host large venues....the night we were there, there was a wedding party being held from 7-10 pm. I love the fact that, like the Godfrey, you can make reservations, although they do accept walk-ins. The menu is not extensive but solid. We started off with 606 Charcuterie Board ($27). There was a nice selection of meats and cheeses, but for the price, I expected a little more of each item. We ended up asking for more bread to finish off the cheese. There was a very nice marmalade that paired well with the cheese and bread. We also got an order of the lamb meatballs ($21). These were four to a serving and were pretty good, but for the price, not something I would get again. For my main course as well as The Doctor, I went with the Chipotle Pork Sliders. These were served with a house made coleslaw and butter pickles on a brioche bun. There were three to an order and that was plenty with a side of fries. I would definitely come back for these. The Queen got the Wild mushroom ravioli and cleaned her plate. I cannot speak on this dish because I am not a fan of this type of ravioli, but she loved it. We finished up with Warm Apple Tart, with the three of us sharing it, but next time I will get this all for me.There was a good mix of beers, cocktails, and wines. I got a Robert De Nola - Brut Rosé Cava, which was nice and the price was very good. The Queen got something that tasted like watermelon...it was cute how they finished off the glass with something to make it look like seeds from a watermelon. She had two of them, so it must have been good. This was such a fun place to hang out on a Saturday early evening. Our server Nicole was super nice and attentive...definitely recommend sitting in her section. There was plenty street parking within walking distance, so it is definitely going to be on the list of joints to hang out at for outdoor bars. My only complaint about the place is that I couldn't see the Kennedy from there, but this is not a deal breaker. I love walking cars go by while having a drink....if the Hyatt could relocate itself to get a little closer so I can see the cars whizzing by, that would be great :-D

This rooftop restaurant offers great views of the Chicago skyline and has plenty of seating and an outdoor bar area with TVs. The atmosphere alone gives it 3/5 stars. The salmon and burger were both outstanding, but the fries that came with the burger were amongst the worst we'd ever had! Also, it can get super windy up on the rooftop which makes it tough to fully enjoy the experience.

Rooftop bar is located on the 7th floor. Good food and lots of options for draft beer. Great view of the downtown skyline! The lemon pepper wings were crispy and cooked really well. Peach salami flatbread was a balanced sweet and salty.

Are you looking for a rooftop on the outskirts of Chicago with a good view of the city? If so, you need to check out Kennedy rooftop at the Hyatt hotel. This rooftop serves delicious food items, as well as tasty cocktails and mocktails. Although we didn't end up getting anything to eat, because we were only there for a drink or two, the food looked super tasty! I couldn't take my eyes off of the cheeseburger entrée and the buffalo wings. There's plenty of seating on the patio, and if it starts raining, they can cover it with the retractable roof. There are a lot of perfect spots to snag beautiful pictures on this patio. If you are looking for a Rooftop in the Kansas City area, make sure to check out Kennedy Rooftop!

Enjoyed the Rooftop for an early birthday celebration and it was perfect! First of all the views are some of the best in Chicago, the cocktails are delicious (and strong), and the food is quite good. We loved that were heaters as the Windy City loved up to its name, but we stayed nice and toasty. Would highly recommend for a girl's or date night!

The menu is very limited. That wouldn't be a problem if the quality was high. But, the food was very bland, cool, and overcooked. We had the salmon pasta and chimichurri kabobs. There was almost no seasoning, even on the "TexMex Esquite" that came with the kabobs. It pretty much tasted like luke warm canned corn. The pasta with the salmon had no sauce and the salmon was overcooked, cool, and lightly salted with no other discernable seasoning. The view was good, but much better from the lounge area. Skip the restaurant and have a cocktail in the lounge.

The rooftop views are amazing. A great place to meet, especially with the happy hour menu. Lots of shareable and appetizers to split with friends. Great seating options indoors and outside.
