Consistency is key! Kelley's has been doing right by the community since before I was born. I've been plenty of times but most recently stopped by for a to-go plate to scratch that "breakfast for dinner" itch. The Kelley family delivered as usual with a tasty plate of breakfast favorites that hit the spot. Breakfast is served all day but they have a full lunch menu and daily specials as well. This is definitely a good place to take a picky eater! I haven't been able to pry my eyes away from the breakfast menu, but I've heard people sing their praises in regard to the lunch menu as well. There are plenty of seats and plenty of parking at the restaurant, and the staff works hard to keep the tables clean and provide good service. The hours are pretty accommodating as well, so you should be able to stop in even if you get the urge for a classic breakfast at night like I did.

Kelley's gets five stars for just being a big family restaurant with a big family menu and big family food! There isn't much that you can't find on their menu and the fact that the meals come with three sides AND you get your choice of rolls or cornbread, before your meal are big bonuses! Be careful, the food portions can be pretty overwhelming. Don't let your eyes write a check that your stomach can't cash! The restaurant is usually cleand and the staff is always friendly and willing to make your visit enjoyable! This will always be my go to spot for a home cooked meal (when my sister is busy...lol).

Draft post...last year!Last day in Texas and everyone stopped for breakfast at this restaurant. It has a country style appeal not only outside, but also inside. Pulling up and also walking towards the door, you do not know what to expect. Peeping inside just about every table was full; this alone let us know that we were in the company of good eating. Our waiter Joshua, was very courteous, accommodating, and extremely attentive to our big crowd. Great place to come if you are hungry. You seat yourself and we had a waitress come and get our drink order pretty quickly. We were both super hungry and ordered not long after we received our drinks. We got one of the daily specials which was the chicken fried steak and chose Mac & cheese, fried okra, and buttered corn as our sides. I told our waiter we would order that first since we were super hungry and maybe get something else. She said the food would be out quickly and also brought out a basket of rolls and cornbread. Carb heaven! The cornbread and rolls were both warm and delicious. Our food came out fast, like the waitress had shared. Between the two of us, we couldn't finish the plate. Portions are massive, food was tasty, and we had really friendly service. I think there was some room for improvement like a little too much breaking in the edges of the chicken fried steak and okra was nothing special, but it's definitely a spot I would come back to.

No frills diner with a huge menu with a lot of variety and daily specials on the menu. The dining room is very open and there are several TVs. My boyfriend and I ordered a random selection of entrees and nothing disappointed. This was my first visit and I left very full and satisfied.

Great breakfast. Stopped in to get a quick bit and Josh took my order. Josh was super efficient and my veggie omelette came out in less than 5 min.Veggie omelette was awesome with just the right amount of jalapeño to give it a good kick. Inside is that coffee shop feel... really cool. I like it.

I placed a phone order because the restaurant wasn't accepting online orders. I chose the Chicken Fried Steak Monday Special with mashed potatoes and peppered gravy, buttered corn, and Mac and cheese as my sides. They estimated a 10-minute wait, which was accurate despite my 15-minute drive. I paid using Apple Pay, spending less than $15.Back home, I found the steak crispy on one side but soggy on the bottom, and disappointingly bland. Instead of Mac and cheese, I received greens. I called the restaurant to explain and asked for a partial refund. Initially offered a full refund if I returned the food, I declined due to the distance. After being put on hold and explaining my situation again to someone else, they offered an extra side on my next visit but couldn't address the current issue. I declined and mentioned I likely wouldn't return due to the food quality.
