Nice sushi restaurant that was clean and busy. There is an all day happy hour where you can get a select few discounted specialty rolls for around $8-10 in comparison to their normal specialty rolls which can be $15-20. There are also appetizers such as agedashi tofu, jalapeño poppers, shishito peppers and beef negimaki on the happy hour menu. There appetizers were good but some of them lacked salt. I would rate the appetizers I tried in the following order: agedashi tofu then beef negimaki then jalapeno peppers then shishito peppers. The favorites from the happy hour menu are the angry lion and Julie crunch so I gave it a try. The Julie crunch had nice crisp to the shrimp tempura and gave it that extra crunchy texture and was the one I liked the most out of the two. I also tried the salmon skin hand roll but it was a bit salty. I would give the place a 3.5/5 due to the lack of salt/flavor in some of the dishes and the fact that the sushi was underwhelming.

Our waiter here literally lied to us about the happy hour. We were charged $20 for "ginger beer" for a double vodka (Moscow mule) The manager then had the courtesy to say (when asked) that he would've only charged way less for "happy hour" if it was just a double shotGood luck running this business buddy

For years this has been my favorite restaurant. We eat there at least monthly and sometimes weekly. Always treat our out of town guests to keepers fare and it really makes a nice impression.Have never had a subpar dish. Our go tos are the fried crawfish and calamari, liza jade roll, and negimaki beef. Plus all of the holiday specials are very impressive! Service is excellent and the ambiance makes for a nice date : ) probably my lifetime fave!

Went to an early dinner and it got busy quickly. Very high end feel with cushioned seats with clean bathroom and fresh feel. Great service as they were ready whenever needed.Had austin, crazy Cajun and skydiver and all delicious. The crazy had chili powder on it and not mixed which I liked but some may not. The austin had a nice sweet flavor to it.Skydiver was cooked and best way to end. A great spot to try and rotate them throughout your visits.

This is THE place for when my girlfriends and I do Girls Night Out and birthdays! Their food is fresh, flavorful, and doesn't disappoint. The service here is generally good, but at times the food waiting time can vary-- some days it's super quick and comes out back to back, other days it comes out slow and you're waiting for your next plate.

My family's favorite sushi restaurant in Sugar Land. Consistently great food and fantastic service!Restaurant gets crowded at peak hours so prepare to wait...or go outside of peak hours. All day happy hour menu is great - fresh nigiri, baked mussels, agadeshi tofu and various rolls (nemo is our favorite!).Regular menu also offers good variety as well. Keeper's Japanese Restaurant and Bar is one of the best Asian region themed restaurants I've been to in Houston. I've been to several Japanese/Chinese fusion places but Keeper's was a great experience with a menu of items that I did not find anywhere else at the time. The customer service was actually a lot better than most other places, courteous and kept checking on us if we needed anything. The inside of the place was well designed, well lit and felt more modern than most other places. The Food portions were all decent sizes and I was surprised at the fact that they had Sake as an option which I did not find anywhere else. The price was not so bad at all. The website is well design and modern.I highly recommend it and would take any friends or family here.
