Keating's Rope & Anchor

The food was delicious! We ordered the Cheesesteak, Burger and Fries. The view of the waterfront was fabulous! We had an amazing time down by Penns Landing. And our server was great.

The food quality was good, portion sizes were large & the service was excellent. We had a large group with multiple families and required multiple checks. Very accommodating & the price was reasonable.

Poor service and hot food served cold. After our waiter came to the table, we had menu questions, however, after asking about a single item, he just turned and walked away before others could ask about other menu items. After he brought our food, one of the bisque soups was cold. We told our waiter, but he was not happy he had to bring it back to reheat it, and made rude comments, saying that it came from the same pot so how could one be hot and the other not. Prices are ridiculously high for what you get. Temperature in the restaurant was freezing cold as well. Never again!

We don't normally eat in hotel restaurants but after a day of traveling and sightseeing we gave Keating's Rope and Anchor a shot and are glad we did. My steak and my husband's crab cakes were delicious. Service was wonderful. And the ambiance couldn't be better in our minds, overlooking the water with wonderful nautical decor.

Was walking the waterline with my girlfriend and celebrating 2 fun loving years together and wanted to cheers with some drinks.Popped in and sat at the end of the bar. Mac ,the bartender, was an absolute gem. So nice and attentive with drinks and conversation. Such a nice person. Thank you Mac for putting a highlight in our great day

Hotel restaurant that is on par with other restaurants that are similar. The staff was friendly, I had the swordfish, it was great. My better half had the crab cakes, they were ok.

Went here for dinner yesterday. Our server Curtis made our experience exceptional. He gave concierge level service. He anticipated our needs and we didn't have to ask for anything. The food was amazing. The portion sizes were a pretty good size. The truffle fries portion was huge and we were able to share them. The swordfish was cooked to perfection. I also had the chicken noodle soup which was good although it could have had more filling in it. The location is perfect because you can walk along the water after dinner.

Food and service were very good. I had the crab cake and philly cheese egg rolls. All excellent . Went for Sunday brunch. Bloody Mary's and mimosas were $5.00The view from the patio was beautiful. A little pricey; 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and soup were $80.00

The kids menu is affordable and with decent selection. I had a Philly cheesesteak which I thought was better than Jim's steak but then I also had very low opinion of Jim's steak with its extremely bland and unseasoned taste.Wife had a Cesar salad, it's reasonable pricing even though it's a restaurant inside the hotel with nice pier side view.

We popped in for a drink. Scott was an amazing bartender. He was born and raised in Philly. He was an excellent source of local info. Scott is the kind of bartender that you want to be your friend. The view of the river was nice.
