Katsu Ramen

Busy on a Sunday night usually bodes well. We were seated right away and shown two little buzzer devices that had 6 total buttons that we could press for service, hot chili oil, water, etc., which I hadn't seen before but thought was pretty cool. The menus are all underneath the clear table top so no need for paper menus or QR codes (also smart). I usually go for a spicy ramen, but the only spicy one on the menu was chicken and I usually prefer pork, so I just got the tonkatsu with pork. It definitely needed spice so we buzzed for chili oil, but had to buzz it 3 times for anyone to come by. Once I added the chili oil to mine it was a LOT better. Without it, a little too bland for my liking. The rest of the service was otherwise relatively quick and prices were reasonable here, with easy parking too (though a surprisingly busy parking lot!)

The food was wonderful and the spice level was just perfect. My husband and I both had spicy chicken with a veggie broth, and we both commented that the noodles were al dente. The service was quick, because there's a line at the door! We didn't feel rushed because we needed to get going, as wellAmbiance? It looks like your neighborhood favorite place to get a quick bite on your way home from work. A side note, it was clean

If you like some classic Ramen then this is the place for you! Perfectly cooked noodles in a savory and rich broth. Today we got the Tonkatsu black garlic and the shoyu and both were perfection!The tonkatsu black garlic is rich and savory with a thick garlic after taste! Is always my go to! The chili paste that come with the tonkatsu is a sweet and full of flavor! A perfect addition for a rich aromatic palate!The shoyu is simple yet divine! A perfect combination of savory and rich without overbearing saltiness! A great combination with the pork cuts!We finished with some tempura shrimp and mayo tuna onigiri! Rice balls with filling that hit the spot! Full of great flavor and yet so simple! A Japanese food icon in my opinion! Will always be back!

I absolutely love the Ramen at Katsu Ramen. I have been going to the restaurant since it opened. The decor is always very pleasing because I love anime, specifically Dragonball Z. The servers are always friendly and the restaurant is clean.My favorite is the lunch special. This time I ordered the curry Ramen with the beef bowl and Gyoza. I can never finish it all so I always pack up the rice bowl to go. The curry is creamy and rich and has a very savory flavor. I enjoyed the corn that garnishes it at the top. The egg is always hard boiled to perfection. I like the fact that it has a gooey center when I bite into it. I did not order Onigiri since I got the lunch special with the beef bowl. That would've been doing too much. I cannot express how much I love this place. I will continue to be a patron as long as it stays open and I live in Colorado.

We enjoy katsu and order delivery regularly but had an opportunity to stop in this time around. I still love their onigiri and regularly order the tempura shrimp. My partner had the curry ramen and I ordered my normal shoyu tonkatsu ramen. The noodles were different than when we order delivery and I wonder why? The service is great, the buttons help to make sure you get what you need and always love the ambiance to make me feel like I'm in Japan!

Katsu Ramen is an excellent Japanese casual eatery with no frills but the food is delicious and you get bang for your buck!We started off with two onigiri - Salmon with garlic soy butter and Miso butter. They are seasoned generously with furikake and the protein is minced inside so it is easily missed. They are good onigiri and definitely filling.Next up was the Black Garlic tonkatsu. The garlic flavor is strong with a ton of noodles and decent sized pork belly pieces. The egg is not soft boiled at all, it is a full on hard boiled soy egg. I appreciated that there was a Naruto slice as that is my favorite additional to ramen.The Pork Katsu Don is GIANT with a hefty portion of Katsu and rice. My husband and I shared all these dishes and we had at least 2 leftover lunch portions. I generally prefer the regular katsu with a crispy exterior but this was very good.I also appreciate that you get refills on the hot green tea :)

Damn gooood! My girl, a friend and I went here from the airport and we were starving. We just yelped this place and first one that popped off when you search soups lol. The ambiance was buzzling and full of color. I never been to Osaka Japan but it does reminded me of that from movies. The customer service was outstanding and cannot say more. I really enjoyed my eating experience here because the food were wow!!! So good.. I didn't expect Colorado to have an awesome ramen place like this :) I ordered their shoyu ramen, which is a soy sauce based soup with pork strips and egg ramen. The ingredients were fresh as you can get and really hearty in a cold weather like this. The most exciting part of our food trip are their onigiris.. I think those bad boys stole the show.. it was sooo gooood! The rice and meat mixture inside it with dashes of furikake powder was just excellent :) Overall, best place to get ramen in Colorado in my opinion.. definitely passing by this place again whenever I can :)PS: Almost forgot their Japanese Curry plate... yo try it! It's definitely a must!!!

We stopped by on a weekday night and it was very lively. They said the wait was going to be 30 min but only ended up being about 15 minutes. They have a bell at each table to get service and the waitstaff was super quick about taking our orders and getting the food out. I ended up getting the curry ramen. I like the broth - it was very flavorful and still super light. I always love a good soft-boiled egg and this one was really good. My only complaint would be that the texture of the noodles seemed a bit off and were pretty thin.

Delicious and quick! We had a 15 minute wait and it went by quick. We had the gyoza to start which were crispy and yummy! We had miso soup and my husband ordered the chicken katsu. We tried a few of the onigiri - the shrimp one, BBQ, salmon and garlic butter and I had the #9 - don't remember the name. Each one had a unique flavor, a good umami flavor. I wish there was more shrimp in the shrimp one. They were difficult and messy to eat, but definitely worth it. The service was great and so quick! I really enjoyed it and it's right around the corner from our house. We'll be back
