Hands down a great place for breakfast. It's an unpretentious and homey restaurant in a strip shopping center. My cheese omelette was delicious. The waitress was nice and she gave my friend some options that were not on the menu. The prices are low... compared to Raleigh.

Tired of seeing employees packing weapons at diners. Food was ok until the 9mm showed up.

Great find as we were driving through Goldsboro on a Sunday morning. They were busy but we were seated immediately at a cute little two person booth. Ordered a Diet Pepsi and the carbonation was just right. Husband ordered coffee. Our drinks were kept filled by multiple waitresses. I ordered the veggie omelet with shredded hash browns and husband ordered loaded shreds which was hash browns heaping with breakfast meats, veggies, cheese and eggs. It was all delicious and perfectly cooked and the wait staff was so friendly. I'm from the south and you can call me "shug" or "sweetie" whenever you want. Prices were reasonable, too! If you're in Goldsboro and want a good breakfast go to Kathy's.

This little breakfast spot is wonderful! Friendly staff, friendly customers! Everything cooked to order. Cook is wonderful. When I have early morning appts. and a friend with me we often go. There is nothing simple about the offerings and wow, the room (though from the outside looks small) It is long and has plenty of seating and a long bar. Clean bathrooms too!

I was very excited to try a nice southern diner while overnighting in this area. The hospitality was typical southern ( welcoming and warm) the food was very good though I kept mine on the light side since I had a 9 hr drive in my immediate future. Hubby however went full gusto and enjoyed every mouthful. Everyone we met at this diner was nice even other diners. We will certainly be back on our next visit.

My favorite breakfast & brunch spot for decades now. Old school vibe. I passed this love on to my daughter and now that she's grown I'm passing on my love for Kathy's to my niece. Service is always above average and prices are still super low.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we stopped in for a bite of breakfast, but was sure glad we did! Food was great, homemade biscuits, pancakes, eggs, yum! Staff was very friendly and all the tables were full when we walked in - which is always a good sign! Great food and will be back next time in town!
