So I used to live in Chicago as a California native. I'm always trying to like figure out what makes Chicago so amazing and they're cuisine their food there's sandwiches there's soups there pizza so here. I am being served at Kathy's. I get the feeling as an outsider that it's a very blue collar first responder EMT like police officer neighborhood which makes me feel great cause I feel safe you know... That's just my opinion so I pop into Kathy's and I get the Italian sandwich! Man was that good!!!Very Clean interior and exterior . I Love the sandwiches Fantastic Service.

What a great little hole in the wall, hidden in a residential neighborhood. We stopped here for lunch on a weekday, and enjoyed the fast counter service. Our sandwiches were delicious and full of flavor - and we were pleasantly surprised that they came with a side of fries included. While this was a bit more rich and filling than my typical lunch, I'm looking forward to going back again for a special treat someday soon.

Best hidden gem in Bridgeport. My go to Sammy's are the Cajun chicken, Billy boy, and the Buffalo Billy boy. Also, don't forget to always order a side of mozzerella sticks! The portion size is great and they have very fair prices. The staff is always so kind, and orders go out FAST! They sell a large variety of foods, so there is literally something for everyone. There are tables to dine in, a small patio area outside, or take it home to enjoy!

I had Italian submarine to go, lots of meat, but greasy for no apparent reason and bread was old. Had better - but maybe this visit was an anomaly. Would try again if ever nearby.

Count your fingers and your food. I bought their "rib special". Full slab with fries. Only received half a slab. I noticed when I got home to make sure I wasn't mistaken on what I ordered. I called Manager and was put on hold for five minutes. I called back and was able to get a response that their half slab is considered a full slab because that's how they do it. A real full slab of their ribs makes them the most overpriced in Chicago. She didn't care that it was misleading and I should know what she meant not what she said. Too bad. This was my fifth and last visit. Oh well at least I won't have to get past the pigeons and squirrels

Visited twice so far this week. Both their Sloppy Joes and Rigatoni with Meatballs specials came out pretty tasty. This is a well hidden gem in Bridgeport with very nice service. Worth the trip.

I love a spicy Italian sub, and Kathy's version does not disappoint! This is a great little neighborhood sandwich shop with an extensive menu of hot and cold subs plus sides and even some entrees. Their chip bag selection is unmatched and they're always very friendly.

This is deff a hidden gem! Casually ran into it and I will deff be coming back! I live their daily specials that are well worth it because they come with fries and it's a pretty big sub! Very reasonable prices for the quality, size and taste!! My only recommendation for the future customers is make sure you ask if certain things are included that the cashier asks because most of the time cheese and peppers will cost extra which will eventually make everything cost more. Overall, very good food and it has a decent variety of food and very friendly staff!

Delicious and good portions! I ordered the Cajun Chicken sandwich, and it was huge. The chicken breast are tender and well marinated. It comes with fries, and the fries are super crispy ! Definitely a place to try if you're in the area.
