We were in Philly and craving some asian food. We found Kasumi on yelp and decided to place an online order. We picked up the food, and the cute Japanese owners were super friendly. Brought the food back and were pleasantly surprised. Chicken Teriyaki $15.95 was good. Standard chicken teriyaki, maybe a bit too much sauce for our preference. Sashimi Combo $24.95 Came with 15 pieces of 5 different sashimi. It was fresh and flavorful and really surprised at how good the quality was. Salmon Teriyaki $17.95 3 nice pieces of salmon with tons of teriyaki sauce, maybe a little too much for our liking, with a side of steamed broccoli and carrots. Seaweed Salad $5.50 fresh

Grabbed dinner at Kasumi Sushi in Philadelphia last night, and I was very impressed by this unassuming spot in a strip mall. Found it through @yelp which has never steered me wrong! The restaurant was nicely decorated, clean with a modern feel. The service was excellent. The server even offered to take my family's picture, which I have never had voluntarily offered! But the sushi was the star of the show! Everything was super fresh and there were rolls like the Eagle Roll (when in Philly...) which had lobster tempura, spicy tuna, salmon and mango. We even tried the octopus sashimi. Everything was excellent and filling!

The food was absolutely amazing. My grandmother, brother and myself all had enjoyable food. We got the fried calamari, the udon, some rolls, and dumplings. The calamari was fried to perfection and had an amazing sauce. The udon was to die for. It had a very nice and rich umami taste. The rolls were great and so were the dumplings. The waiters and service were all really nice and fast. If you're looking for a tasty and quick lunch spot , then go to kasumi.

I've been here a couple of times to be able to say that the sushi is consistently delicious every time. The only complaint (and is kind of a minor one) is that their ubon should have a little more protein quantity. They have good lunch specials during the week. They have parking up front and confortable.

I love the food at Kasumi. My go to is the sushi and sashimi platter when I am hosting a party or just for some important gathering. The sashimi are really fresh. All of the ramens tasted great as the broth weren't too salty and noodles were cooked perfectly. The lady who packed our take out was wonderful and nice. The restaurant looks pretty clean and the atmosphere was good. We decided to get take out as some of the family prefer that instead of eating in a restaurant. Would definitely come back here!

Pretty solid Japanese restaurant if you just want basic sushi. I usually get the 3 roll special here if I'm in a pinch and just want some decent sushi. I believe they also serve ramen too but I've never tried it.

I am pleasantly surprised by how delicious the foods are. Ordered sushi combo and two signature rolls. They are very fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is not too noisy and the environment is clean and welcoming. Loved our waitress Tina. I would definitely recommend and come back!

I recently dined at this sushi restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of their ingredients. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh, and what's even better is that they offer these top-notch ingredients at great prices. My favorite dish of the night was the Tuna Bomb. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the tuna was incredibly tender. If you're a sushi lover looking for both quality and affordability, this is definitely the place to be!
