Great food with amazing service. Khalid bhai and Yasmin bhen (master chef) have this place rocking. The crew had all the logistic covered. No wait on puri, naan, paratha or any food. They had so many varieties of food that it was hard to pick and choose. Keep it up guys.

Karachi Restaurant is absolutely adorable. Ten stars for the ambiance alone! My Pakistani in-laws said that the kitschy decor reminded them of home in Karachi. The menu is approachable, because there are pictures on the walls. We didn't get a chai set, but the the little pots and cups looked so cute! My 4 stars (instead of 5) is reflective of the food quality. Everything was baseline yummy - especially for the price - but nothing was jaw-dropping delicious. The chaat was a bit stale and the meat could have been softer. In all, Karachi Restaurant is a good choice for traditional food and atmosphere.

food is average not as good as expected ambiance is good. service is not bad either. but food as compare to other houston restaurants this is very average

If I could give this place a negative review I would. Hands down one of the WORST places I've had on Houston.I order a Malai boti roll, chicken zinger burger and a jalapeno burger. The Malai boti roll was a soggy store bought Malaysian paratha, NO sauce, sparse dry tasteless pieces of chicken, and loaded with shredded lettuce. Absolutely disgusting.The chicken zinger was a JOKE. The buns were not toasted and HUGE with a tiny soggy chicken piece inside, which again was dry. Had large chunky pieces of onions- who the heck puts that in a zinger?? Picture attached. Again disgusting.The jalapeno "burger" was the worst of it all. Just a slight smear of sauce was applied- picture attached. The "burger" was literally a tasteless chicken Chapli kabob. The entire order was tossed out.Here the thing. If you clearly do not know about a certain type of cuisine, DON'T SERVE IT. Don't put what you don't know on the menu. Don't serve your customers garbage.To anyone reading this, don't waste your time at this horrendous joke of a restaurant.

I picked up food around 2 am and the food was extremely disappointing. Karachi put the anda right on top of the paratha and the anda had no spice or flavor. Anda was stuck to the paratha. The aloo paratha was extremely thin (very little aloo inside ) and had no spice and flavor either. Both parathas looked and tasted like they were made earlier and reheated. The malai for the malpura smelled weird. We didn't enjoy any of the items and discarded them.Prior to this, my family last visited Karachi Restaurant 4 years ago and that visit was disappointing so we stopped going. I gave them another chance today and this was super disappointing again.

A great place. Excellent service and food. Peshawari ice cream is fairly authentic, Nihari is great, some claim better than Ashar's.Chicken Karhai and haleem are definitely among the best in Houston.
