Kang Nam Chicken

I had a craving for Korean wings and decided to give this place a try. We ordered over 20 wings and they were not that good. The wings were heavily breaded and seemed over-fried. Some pieces were a bit hard and the skin was hardened. The Kang Nam Special was a bit salty. Also, the wings were really huge and one was oddly shaped. We couldn't identify what part of the chicken it might be. It looked like a star fish. I don't think I will order again.

I was passing through. I saw this place nearby when looking for a quick late lunch. Being a lover of Korean fried chicken I gave this a shot. It was just ok. What I got was decent. But it didn't have the true crisp that Korean fried chicken has. The skin actually came out slightly more chewy than crispy. And the flavor just wasn't quite there for me. It had an slight burnt oil taste to me and really didn't have enough flavor in the batter to make it any better. I had higher expectations. They weren't quite met.

We decided to call an audible when it came to our dinner plans and we were glad we did! We walked in completely unsure what we wanted to eat and were happily greeted. I loved the detailed explanation we got on the different sauces, sizes and serving recommendations, as well as the basic details on the non-chicken options.Beyond the excellent customer service, we loved every bite of what we got. We tried Kang Nam Chicken (regular), Fried Dumplings w/Honey Garlic sauce, Sweet & Hot Spring Rolls, a Beef Cup Bob, and even some Kimchi. Probably too much food for two people, but I'm happy with left overs =PThe wings are huge and tasty. I mean I love double fried wings so no surprise that these were my favorite. The Cup Bob is portioned well for one and offers a mix of flavors. The dumplings are good on their own right and even better with the sauce on top.As you can read, a clear recommend from me. I'll be back for more...

Today is my first time getting Kang Nam Chicken, I was greeted with superb welcoming customer service by the owner! The dumplings, all flavors were my fave especially the Kang Nam Special. As for the chicken, the honey garlic and Kang Nam special chicken were my top 2 flavors. I also tried the Melon Milkiis Korean soda which was very good. Overall my first experience was great and I highly recommend!

Small takeaway place that serves mighty delicious and crispy chicken.We got the regular size (8 pieces consisting of 2 legs and the rest wing drumlets and flats) in honey garlic flavor.Had to take it to go in a box and while I was tempted to try it right away I waited for the 20 min ride back home.It was still crispy and delicious.Friendly service. Wish they had some tables so that one could enjoy the chicken fresh and hot.Can take 20-30 min for your order so we just went to Pho Thai Nam next door for lunch 1 and grabbed the chicken for lunch 2. What?? Not everyone has 2 lunches you say??? Odd.

Absolutely one of the best chicken dinners I ever had. First time here and I got the honey garlic and my wife got Kang Nam sauce. Both incredible and juicy. Super nice owner gave us a sampling of the sauces. The coating melts in your mouth unlike others that almost break your teeth. I was upset when all the KFC places closed down. Not anymore. I found my new chicken joint. Will be back!

Very awful service, walked in and said hello the guy didn't even speak back. I left right out, would never order from here! That's probably why it's always empty when I drive by!

Amazing food and amazing service, man at the counter was beyond friendly and helpful!

I ordered regular chicken.They are inedible.The rotten smell is clearly due to the chicken days old .. probably left over from yesterday or the day before.The fries too Clearly left over reheated.Don't buy anything from this establishment
