Kami Ramen & Sushi

A great find nearby IAH!My brother and I had a great dinner here! We got the spicy tonkatsu ramen - soooo spicy but very flavorful! As for sushi, we tried their Akuma, TNT, and Red Dragon rolls. Their rolls were beautifully presented on a wooden boat and each roll was delicious!Service was very attentive, and we were never left with empty glasses of water. Would return to try more items!

They food was really good! Very clean establishment and hostess were great and patient with the questions and pictures my husband and I showed them. (Lol)I got the vegan ramen without the Tufu and sub for shrimp and my husband got the steak and we did the trio sushi.

Pleasant customer service. Greeting promptly and our server was great. It was my first time having Ramen at a restaurant and it was an interesting experience. I opted for the vegan ramen. They said it was spicy, but as a spice lover, it was very mild. Ambiance was very casual and laid back.

Had the taste for some ramen...so I decided to try this spot out...and I'm glad I did...when you come in you'll be greeted by the hostess...who will take you to your table...it's not that fancy in the inside...but it's nice...after being seated my waitress took my order and brought my drink...I ordered a bowl of curry chicken ramen...and a TNT roll...and I tell you...both items had plenty of flavor...it was so much...I had to stop and get a container to go...I'm glad I came to this spot...and I'll definitely be coming back

Kami Ramen & Sushi was the most unexpected, delicious find we could have stumbled upon near George Bush Intercontinental airport. Literally this place gave us life after a very hectic, long travel day back home.First off, service was outstanding. I didn't catch our waitress' name, but she literally knew exactly what we needed before we ever asked for it. She basically read our minds the entire dinner. The ambiance has simple sushi/ramen restaurant vibes, nothing to complain about here.The food though... Completely unexpected as to how good it was. Tbh we were expecting mediocre Asian food in the Humble area, but their food was legit really good. We had their spicy tonkatsu ramen, TNT roll, Akuma roll, and Red Dragon roll. We added fresh garlic, extra pork chashu, extra egg, and extra noodles to the ramen as well. This was a ton of food! We were starving from a 12hr travel day, and even then we couldn't finish all this food. The sushi was fresh, and the ramen broth literally warms you from your soul. 10/10 would recommend when you're near the airport!Thank you Kami for helping our travel nightmare of a day turn into something great with your food and service. We will definitely be back, cheers!PS: Yes they do serve beer, wine, and sake from what I saw.

I always enjoy being served both ramen and boba at a single location. The ramen was very flavorful, and included a pleasant amount of toppings. The meals arrived pretty quickly after ordering. The steak however wasn't my favorite, and will probably try a different protein on my next visit. Similarly with the boba, I enjoyed the flavors of the tea but not quite the texture of the popping boba. Overall, great flavors. Great presentation of food and loved the atmosphere.

The restaurant is spacious and clean. We were seated immediately and had our drink orders taken. Waitress was the hostess and she was friendly and helpful. So was the guy helping her out. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. The bowl was way out of my league, but I've been able to work on my leftovers for a few days. I will be going back pho sure!

It was a nice visit, great service but I wasn't impressed or blown away by the ramen. The broth to me needed some seasoning, to which I added. And it didn't make me want to come back.

The sashimi was oh so fresh! The spicy edamame came right off the steamer and the fried rice was large and tasty. The salmon skin app was delicious!!The service was fast and friendly. The bathroom as well as the rest of the place was very tidy and clean. The place has a very accurate Japanese aesthetic. Not usually in this area but when I am, I'll come back.

I find Kami Ramen & Sushi really affordable and service is pleasantly quick. Stepping inside you'll find the restaurant is decorated with the cutest Japanese set up. The menu is extensive but easy to navigate. The double/triple roll special is a really good deal if you plan on ordering a lot of speciality rolls. My partner and I shared a Spicy Salmon Roll, Shaggy Dog Roll, Tonkatsu Black Ramen, Kami Pork Bun for under $40 and we were content with the food. I personally wouldn't order the ramen again simply because Houston has spoiled me with better ramen selection. The sushi is quite tasty and I'll definitely revisit to take advantage of their specials.
