Kabora

I used to work at the mall and so now going to a food court is a real bummer. Granted I don't go to the mall often because...well...I used to work there and I kind of hate it.When I went to the food court this last time I was thrilled to find Kabora which was new to me and I was craving some Middle Eastern food.We ordered two meals a gyro sandwich (the number 1) and the chicken shawarma sandwich (the number 2). The people at the counter were fast and got our order taken and food prepared fast...but not too fast that it was suspicious.Something that was a bit of a bummer was that they had a large soda fountain to fill up your drink but had maybe 4 options. No diet or zero calorie drink either which is my usual preference.The sandwiches were large and the fry portion was a good size. The were filled with meat and loaded up with sauce. These are for sure sandwiches that you need to sit down and have a few napkins with.Everything tasted fresh and the shawarma was seasoned nicely. It was really good for mall food court food and 100% the best option for food at this mall food court. Was it the best Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food I have ever had, no. If you have never had this type of food before should you travel into the mall for it? Maybe.

Meh-I've had better. The chicken and rice was pretty good. Cooked fresh to order but the hummus left something to be desired. A little too watery and grainy. As if the chickpeas weren't cooked enough. Veg was fresh tho and service was very friendly!

Wow I'm impressed Food was hot and delicious Not very fast but that's ok. Frys were perfect Hot and crispy and I didn't even have to ask The Gyros were packed full of meat. Great job

Feeling hungry and wanted a quick bite. Was wandering the food court and came across this place. Ordered their gyro plate. Omg, the food is so delicious and flavorful. The rice was light, fresh, and seasoned. The beef and lamb meat was delicious full of authentic flavor. For the price that I paid for, it is very reasonable and the food amount was good. I most definitely will eat here again when I'm shopping. Come check out this place. Yummy and a great quick fix!

Food is made to order, flavorful & good sized portions. I've tried the Gyro & Shwarma as sandwiches and platters/meals = with. rice, hummus, Tzatziki. Staff is helpful & friendly. A go to for my son & I. Baklava is often available too.

The Flatiron mall finally got a good restaurant in their food court. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.. I highly recommend Kabora Afghan cuisine if you're at the mall!

OMG I was pleasantly surprised how good the food is! I wasn't sure about it because the menu was so simple but it was spectacular. The gyro meat was very tender and flavorful and the chicken shawarma was amazing.

Super delicious! Got the lamb kabob and it was super fresh and the sauces were great!
