The rice is so dry!!! One of the worst poke I've ever had!! Super expensive for what you get! If you order the eel- they don't tell you it takes an additional 7 minutes wait.... So that sucks - missed my bus to work. Salmon was ok. This a new location and saw a discount but didn't read the small print so No discount- Lame. See how long this place will last. This address has a huge turn over on new food. The bowls are too small - you get more dry hard rice than poke. Not worth the $18.

Friendly and knowledgeable employees greet you when you walk into this cozy restaurant. The selection is good (like the name implies, it's mostly poke but lots of choices of proteins and grains) and the ingredients are fresh. Also, the portions are HUGE. I got the regular size, and it was enough for two meals. There's a good selection of toppings, sides, and drinks. When I was there, it looked like there's a drink machine being installed for mixing fresh juices? I'll come back soon to see if it's ready yet.One word of caution: the spicy ahi is actually SPICY! For me, this was a pleasant surprise. I'm used to "meh" levels of spice at poke joints, so I'm prepared to add my own hot sauce to spice it up. No need here!

Just poke is super convenient location. However, I found the fish not to be the freshest I've had. They also don't have a whole lot of options for toppings. There are definitely better poke places in Cap Hill, but it satisfies cravings.

I love Just Poke!I have been here countless time..And it has satisfy the poke craving every-time..I eat sushi everyday and on my days off, I go to Just Poke.I have noticed that their Ingredients are always of the freshest quality. They guarantee that if You don't like the bowl they will make you a new one. I have always liked my bowls!!!! So props to them! Love that in a business. They have many sauce options and The combination are endless! Whenever I'm feeling extra fresh and healthy, I go for the ZOOOODLES option.I personally always go for the large and it's super filling, but in a way that doesn't make me feel heavy and blehhhh. The space is very clean,I have seen staff actively clean and they have always been very friendly.#PokePower

Ordered two bowls online, they got the proteins wrong on the bowls, ended up having to pick through and swap proteins. If you're someone with food allergies I wouldn't trust them to prepare your food.Flavors were good at least (only reason it's 2 stars not 1)

I've seen multiple locations of this poke shop. For it to have multiple locations, they must be good, right? I thought to check out their new location in Capitol Hill as they were having a promo on their opening week! The location that we went to is located in Capitol Hill on Broadway E. It's located next to Dick's Drive In. There's only street parking around the area which could be difficult to find during the night, but it's located outside the central area of Capitol Hill.My boyfriend actually got takeout for us and chose two of bowls that seemed great. He got two Signature Bowls: the Spicy Ahi Bowl and the Hawaiian Classic Bowl. The bowls looked huge with a ton of fish on top! But kind of sad as they didn't look like their advertised signature bowls (peep at pic)... The spicy ahi bowl had ginger and massage but where are cucumbers?? Seemed like we only had a couple pieces of it. Already a hmm moment there. Time to eat! Couldn't wait! But then I got hit with more disappointments. The rice was dry and seemed a bit undercooked. It was as if the rice was from the day before. Bleh. The spicy ahi was spicy! Many places say 'spicy' but really isn't. But not this place! Definitely spicy enough for me to continue drinking water. Good flavor but the fish... yikes. I could definitely taste the frozenness of the ahi, and they weren't a good texture. The fish from the spicy ahi had a texture that was super rubbery and mushy compared to the Hawaiian bowl one. Weirdly inconsistent... The Hawaiian bowl lacked a bit of flavor and just tasted dull. My boyfriend and I tried to enjoy our meal, but we both couldn't. It was just kind of hard to with the weird rubber texture of the fish and weird rice we had.Maaaan, maybe it was because of their opening week that the quality was bad... but this one bad experience will deter me from coming here again. Maybe I should try something else besides the ahi and create my own bowl or try their torched bowl. Just maybe.

Update: I went for the second time and the portion of the large was significantly different(smaller) than the first time I got it. (Protein portion was the same--less fun fillers) . For those of you have been following me on this app for some time you know that's one of my biggest pet peeves. Still delicious and presented well. I'm gonna keep an eye on this and keep you guys updated!!

Ever since this location opened our service has been terrible. Wrong ingredients, missing ingredients and finally today someone else's order. The worst part is there is no way to contact the store, the phone number listed does not work. Never again!
