Thought this place was okay. Chips and salsa were good. Service was excellent, super kudos to our waitress she was so nice and friendly. Enchilada sampler is what I ordered. The enchiladas were tasty. I found the rice to be a bit tough and over done. Beans were good. Margarita was sub par, I didn't care for the mix they used. Good specials, had the place to ourselves for dinner. Maybe more of a lunch crowd?

Came here with some friends a few weeks ago as last time we tried to come they were closed for a while. I was excited to try this place out as I had read and heard really good things. I started with a spicy pineapple margarita that came in a super cute little glass (I liked it so much I found it on Amazon and ordered it). The margarita was a tad spicy but nothing crazy and the flavor of the pineapple was lovely. For my entree I ordered the green enchiladas with chicken as that is one of my all time favorites. I only got the 2, but should have gotten 3 as they were a bit tiny. The Verde sauce was delicious and so were the rice and beans. Portion wise, I think they could have gone bigger, but overall I enjoyed my meal. I got one more margarita before we left- this time frozen strawberry. This one was really great as well and the fresh berries on top were a nice touch. I would definitely be back to try more options and of course enjoy more margaritas.

My family are regulars here and for good reason. When a place combines great food and great service, it's a win-win for everyone. This is Tex-Mex comfort food at its best. I tend to stick with the same menu item when I find something I really like, but when I venture out here I'm never disappointed. The staff are very attentive, but not hovering. Very professional and genuinely friendly. Give it a try!

My husband and I went with a group of friends and the Food was so yummy! The red and green salsa is on point. Margaritas are strong and have good flavor. Everyone's meals looked delicious, but I got the Birria tacos and can't wait to eat them again!!! A must try!!

Found this restaurant because of Nicks Local Eats.We have a favorite mexican restaurant that no place we have tried comes close to matching on quality, speed and price. After years of searching we have finally found a contender. Julio's was amazing. I have been wanting to try the trendy birria tacos for a while now and the ones offered here did not disappoint. The au jus/consomme for dipping the tacos was so good, when I had eaten all the tacos I threw in my rice and made soup so i didn't waste any of it. The chips and salsas offered were great. I am excited to go back and explore the rest of their menu.

To get puffy tacos, my family used to have to go all the way to San Antonio for them but this place has them and they're terrific. Once in a while I come here with the whole family and we always get the puffy tacos! Perfectly puffy and not too greasy. I'm not sure what's in the green sauce they serve on the side but it's delectable! Despite the low ceilings, the space is wide and open and easy to get to and from the seats. The decorations and artwork are very unique and I notice something new with them each time. They play music but it's not too loud and the elderly members my family can still hear. This is a great place but the service is unpredictable and can use improvement. The waitstaff generally hang out behind the counter talking to each other instead when they could be more attentive to their customers. We had been ready to order and even put the menus aside to show we were ready but still had to flag someone down to order. Despite this slight issue, the wait time for the food was completely reasonable and the food was great so I still recommend this place for a good puffy taco!

Food was absolutely mid. Rice needed salt. Queso came out and instantly turned hard. Margarita was "fine" implying that it was a large vessel that contained alcohol. The fajita (both chicken and steak) was lovely though. Unfortunately is was brought on a rough and dry tortilla. Service was fine. Friendly and smiling employees. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was a bit underwhelming. It was a bit dead and little to no music playing. I wouldn't recommend.

I've been here twice. The first time I tried to use a coupon and they told me I couldn't use it as it was only valid for dinner and I was there for lunch. There were no restrictions like that printed in the coupon. But, no problem. Just went back and they forgot to serve us chips and salsa. We had to ask for it. The wait person realized this and apologized but, chips and salsa are a staple at all TexMex restaurants in the Houston area. How do you "forget" to serve it? The three people working there were mostly standing around looking at the tv (soccer was on). The service was terrible. We won't be back. Food is just ok. With the prices of eating out becoming cost prohibitive for many people restaurants need to make the customer feel like they are at least getting good service.

Service here has really gone downhill. Also found a bug in our chips. Disgusting! Told the waiter and he said he's let the kitchen know. Really?! Used to be a regular here but not sure I'll be going back.
