Juanita's Mexican Restaurant - Louetta

This is our second time here and we do enjoy it more than other TexMex restaurants that are closer to us. My husband and I shared "Joselin Botana" and "Beef Quesadillas". The quesadillas are not only outstanding, but they are enormous. we shared it and managed to bring some home. The Joselin Botana could have been excellent except there was no way it was "smothered" in queso dip. Matter of fact you had to dig to find it. The chips that came with it were flaky and flavorful. Good salsa, good chips. Great frozen margaritas. We will be back. Maybe we'll try the one closer to us instead of driving to the Louetta location.

I really wanted to love the place, but we thought it was just okay and weren't terribly impressed and don't plan to go back. On the other hand, their lunch menu prices we found to be pretty reasonable and if you're trying to save a few dollars, it might be worth considering coming here. The staff was polite and helpful.

We have driven by Juanita's a zillion times. Saw a ton of cars there last week, so I told my hubby we just HAVE to finally check them out!We went in for lunch on a Sunday so, needless to say, it was very quiet. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The atmosphere is your typical TexMex restaurant style. I like that we could watch the Texans game during our lunch.We both ordered small frozen margs and one large queso with ground beef to share. The queso was pretty good. But the margs! Holy hell they were sooo strong! That was the strongest margarita I've had in a long while! Whoooo! Wow! As far as the food goes-my chalupas were delish! My husband ordered the enchiladas verdes with chicken fajitas--which he specifically mentioned to our server. His only gripe is that they came with shredded chicken instead. Other than that, the food was great. The margs out of this world. The service on point. And the atmosphere just right. We will DEFINITELY be going back!

I visited for lunch last Sunday and ordered the mixed fajitas with homemade corn tortillas (they offer both corn and flour homemade) for $19. First to arrive were the chips and two red salsas one warm and one cold. Both were good but I preferred the warmer version. I thought it had more flavor. The entree came out in about 10 minutes on a sizzling platter. I started with the charro beans and while good tasting only average in my opinion. The beef fajitas could have been more tender but then I can say that about many other restaurants versions too and they had good flavor. The chicken was about the same in taste. Ok but not standing out. The meal is advertised as coming with green peppers and onions on the platter and mine had an adequate amount of onions but only one piece of a green pepper. Oh well... I will say the corn tortillas were fresh and tasty. Probably the best part of the meal. Table service was good.I could tell during my meal that this restaurant is well run and organized. A section inside is devoted to making the tortillas and overall interior decor is nice and festive. Overall the meal was a 3 and while everything was ok nothing is pulling me back in a hurry.

Always good for lunch or dinner! The waitstaff is friendly. Today we went for breakfast! It's served on weekends but would highly recommend. We shared a Mexican omelette which hit the spot. And the staff split it for us before serving !!!! Not many places will do that!!I've also had the pancakes and they are good too!!!

I was in need of some serious comfort food and asked if I could order off the breakfast menu at 2 pm on a Monday and they were happy to oblige!!! Something's it's the simple things. Like chorizo and eggs when your feeling crummy!! Which, by the way is awesome!!

First time here with a family of four. If you want something close to authentic Mexican food, this is NOT the place to go. I've had way better food elsewhere. Fajita in my burrito was dry. Service seemed rushed because they kept coming around to see if we were finished with our plates. Michelada needed more flavor. Margarita was fine. I only gave them 2 stars because our kids enjoyed their quesadilla. Don't think we will be returning.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this is not the place. The rice lacked so much flavor. The rice tasted like it was frozen and then heated up in a microwave. The refried beans were disappointing on multiple levels. Firstly, the flavor was severely lacking, offering little to no seasoning or depth. The texture was unappealing, and the presentation left much to be desired. The overall experience fell far short of expectations, leaving me with a regretful aftertaste.The charro beans, were not bad, but also lacking flavor. If you eat here I'd suggest go with charro beans. The fajita chicken in my quesadilla was too dry and hard to chew. After careful consideration, I have decided not to return to Juanita's Mexican Restaurant. While the location was appealing and the staff were friendly and attentive, the overall experience on the food fell short of my expectations. The quality of the food did not align with the price point.

We love Juanita's! Everything we've ever ordered has been fantastic! They have the best cheese enchiladas and the mole sauce is perfect. It's family friendly and my kids love going. The staff is quick and everyone is so nice! It's hands down our favorite restaurant.

Since moving to the area, we've been trying to find good Tex Mex. This wasn't the place we were looking for, as the entrees were so bland. Our server wasn't friendly and didn't smile. We didn't feel welcome. We plan to give it another try, though. It was quite crowded, which means they must be doing something right most of the time.
