MEXICAN GARDEN SALAD W/ steak fajita $12.25 - beef or chicken fajita w/ mixed greens, red onions, roasted corn, black beans, red bell pepper (surprisingly no cheese?) - salad itself was basic. There was a LOT of steak so definitely worth it. Steak & chicken is the same price so might as well get steak. It was flavorful and tender. Struggled to finish it. juanita's fajitas (for 1 $16?) - large portion of steak, friend struggled to finish the meat. He enjoyed it. Comes w/ grilled onion, bell pepper, pico, beans, rice, guac, tortillas.Chips & red salsa were good. Service was terribly slow though.Okay, not sure if I'll return.

During a recent stay in Houston, my friends and I came here based on recommendations that they had good margaritas and the distance from where we were staying wasn't too far. Correct on both accounts. The staff was helpful and courteous. They were able to accommodate our large party without any issue. Our table always had a full basket of chips and red salsa and glasses of water always filled. Our food was served hot and the flavor of it was delicious. I had ordered chicken flautas which were crispy and packed with chicken (yum!). I considered this is a great place for value and quality of food served.

HORRIBLE! We were seated and asked for drinks, a lady brought us chips and salsa. Over 20 minutes and nobody came to give us a menu or ask if we needed something. On top of that they had the audacity to still charge us for the drinks that we didn't even finish because we were waiting on someone to bring the menu. $16 down the drain!! The horchata tasted like soap!!! Never again, first and last time here!

Great fist visit to Juanita's! Very friendly staff and good food. The margaritas and micheladas were excellent! Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good texmex food.

This place didn't deserve a single star. Everyone's food was absolutely horrible don't make the same mistake we did. EVERYONES shrimp was over cooked-clearly from yesterday the shrimp was tougher than overcooked steak. Honestly embarrassed for the owner, especially after he was bad mouthing my grandfather after he couldn't chew through the shrimp and asked for the plate to be removed. Maybe they had a bad night idk either way never going to find out.

we had an amazing experience here, the service was very quick and Felix was very attentive and friendly. we had large portions for a great price, and the pork rind queso was sublime. would highly recommend sharing a meal with family and friends here, the vibe was amazing.

Not the best experience with quality of food with the sauce being a bit thick (salsa) and staff seemed out of it (maybe a bad day). Probably won't come back given other options.

After years of living near Juanitas and driving by it several times during the week, we finally popped in for takeout. Heads up for those being COVID cautious -- masks not worn by employees and not requires for guests. When we went in there was plenty of seating but the restaurant was pretty empty despite it being a Friday night and HH hours. The area and surrounding areas have plenty of delicious Mexican options and this place for what we ordered fell short. My hubby got the dinner special which was chicken with melted cheese and 3 pieces shrimp. Instead of Mexican rice it looked like they served him pilaf. $13 for the plate.I ordered the beef street tacos for $16 (!!!!). There were only 4 tacos and they didnt top my favorite taquitos from Taco Arandas. Also no green sauce!The salsa was mediocre and the chips were too thick IMO. Unfortunately, with the price points, we will likely not be returning.

We had the most enjoyable and delicious evening at Juanita's Mexican Restaurant on Louetta Road tonight. They graciously accommodated our group, which was larger than we'd anticipated, and gave us excellent and personalized service throughout the evening. What a great staff! There was such an excellent variety of dishes offered and each one was fresh and delicious. We had the best time and highly recommend this restaurant.

Very clean, excellent Servic, very good food! We had Betos Margaritas which were delicious! Patron, lime, Quantro and a few other ingredients! Beto was our server so that's what he called our Margaritas. We had the mixed fajitas for one and the deluxe Chalupas. More than enough food for the two of us, the chicken was moist and tender but the steak was a little dry. The homemade tortillas were perfect! We will be back before we return to Michigan!!!
