Very nice people, but when you go in there's no menu. I ordered an Italian hoagie. It was huge, I didn't realize they have a smaller size, and the guy didn't ask. I found the sandwich to be kind of dry, and no onions? I guess I could have added those, but isn't oil or mayo standard? I'll be smarter if I go back for sure, but I think there should have been more communication when I ordered.

Ordered a hoagie tray for my boyfriend's surprise party and John's didn't disappoint! We fed about 14 with one tray, and they were great about keeping onions/pickles/etc on the side. My friends who live in the city asked if these were the "famous" hoagies they kept hearing about from the suburbs, and I said of course, so there's going to be an excursion to 19087 soon so they can all try them.

God where do i even start here . My friend and i went to John's on the coldest day of the year, we walk in and no one working there says hi or gives us a greeting. Very unfriendly with a limited menu. We both were starving and choose to go with the Italian hoagie for 18 dollars. My hoagie ended up getting thrown out the car window it was so bad. My friend ended up choosing to eat his unfortunately he ended up with a stomach ache and then the runs following. I highly do not recommend. Be warned.

I came here as a child with my family, and I'm happy to return now that I work in the area. I love the aesthetic of stepping back in time, the moment you enter this small family owned business there is a genuine authentic warmth, and you immediately feel welcome. The sandwiches, hoagies, sides, and homemade sauces are incredible! High quality everything - bread, meats, sauces, each item sold here is the best and made with love. I highly recommend John's Village Market, it is a singular place most people will find is well worth coming back to again and again. You may even be inspired to say your Vesper prayers!

I'm very loyal to them however, they have changed in the last few years. However, they are still clean, courteous, fresh and flavorful so I'll remain loyal.

John's is an old-fashioned sandwich shop. There's nothing fancy and it's not cheap, but the food is great. If you have friends in from out of town, this is the place to take them for a hoagie.

Known for their hoagies and Italian market. Had one years ago and decided to travel 40 minutes to experience it again. Fresh made to order hoagie was very tasty but remembered it maybe having a little more deli meat before. It is a lovely corner neighborhood little market that has lots to offer inside. You can call in your order or walk in. I placed my order in person and enjoyed browsing the store for the short wait. Workers were very friendly and Italian hoagie was delicious. Definitely recommend.

John's makes some of the best hoagies anywhere near Wayne, PA. You cannot be disappointed. I usually order an Italian but sometimes a turkey. They do need to update their prices on the wall. I know there has been price rises from inflation but the last time I ordered a regular which was priced on the wall at 8.95. When it was rung up at the register it was over 13+ dollars. Costs have gone up so be prepared for the increase.
