Super duper smoky in here-like walk in for 2 minutes and come out with your clothing and hair reeking of cigarettes. If it were non-smoking-we would love to hang out here, especially since it's so close to home. Since it's not, we won't be back-smoke is just too gross here. Service was friendly, food was good, all of it overpowered by smoke so thick that your eyes burn.

This is one of my usual Friday night spots. I've found the staff to be attentive. The evening crowd usually rolls in around 8 pm- which consists of regulars who like to listen to classic rock and an early- to mid-twenties crowd whose music preference ranges from hip-hop to metal with some country thrown in.There is an enclosed area outside the back door with several picnic tables and a grill. In general a lot of people do not congregate there, so I have found it the ideal location to speak on the phone.There are 3 pool tables, although more room would be nice to avoid having to request someone move aside when trying to make a shot. In all fairness, the crowd here has always been very polite and this is a very minor inconvenience. There is also a shuffleboard table, several dart boards, and various arcade games.There is also a kitchen (separate from the bar) that serves your typical bar fare. Since they are separate from the bar, they currently accept only cash. The food is pretty good, but if you have an aversion to fried food, then the pickings are slim. They also serve steaks which are pretty good.

Our favorite friendly neighborhood bar! My boyfriend and I go in any time we want to wind down with a drink. Affordable prices, friendly faces and good times!!

The bar manager is sending harassing messages, always mentioning my name in full... And sending them to any customers she doesn't like.She tore down stars for a cancer benefit. We haven't been in there in months and she won't stop. I'm super tired of the harassment. If she won't stop then I will continue to add examples here. Just stop girl. We want to move on and pretend like you don't exist. Leave us alone. Be a better person. Cease and desist.

If you want to know what it's like to visit a VFW bar. Go to John's. Drinks are high dollar and poured weak. This place WAS the place to be about 7 years ago now it's just sad

Great place. I'm pretty regular in here and I can honestly say it's drama free, drinks are reasonably priced, and the service is superb. Only semi-negative thing I can say is that I wish the owner would allow more DJ/Karaoke nights, and appeal to a younger crowd thus bringing in new faces and LOTS of business like other businesses around town have done and are making a fortune especially around the holidays!

This bar threw out over $1,200 worth of donor stars for a little girl that is battling cancer. I've never even heard of this place, or been here, but hopefully if anyone reads this you'll choose to go somewhere else

Fun place, friendly staff, good prices and we had a great time, their steak is awesome too.Thank you, will come back again
