One should never turn down an opportunity to pay homage to Saint Pádraig, and homage was indeed paid this day, the 17th of March. I can think of no greater way to honor one of my favorite holidays than making it my 500th review!Mad thanks to Justin T. (and crew), Lupe M., Jazzy T. for staking out and claiming the largest table on the patio. Always good to get some time from Victor H. and Brian T. in the books. Great time with everyone that came out!Parking -We met bright and early on this lovely Sunday holiday. Off the main road, the entrance to parking was not easily found or utilized, most folks missed it and came through the rear. Even with a decent crowd, parking didn't seem to be too much of an issue. They have some established parking, and also an open field behind it for overflow. No lay required. Yay free! The Bar - As one might expect, there's a large bar inside provisioning cocktails, draft beer, and maybe even some wine (don't quote me on the wine. I didn't see it). The folks behind the bar were a hustlin'. They had about 5 bar tenders in the main bar, moving people quickly. They also had a pop-up bar on the patio that was cash and venmo only. Smaller menu of items, but a good place to hit without a line if they had what you wanted. All the staff were very patient and friendly. There is food, looked like normal bar fare, but I did not purchase any. For the holiday they had live music, some swag out on the tables, and some decent drink specials. There were shots galore. My one complaint is that an Irish Car Bomb should be a full glass (pint) and not half a solo cup. The Digs - The bar itself is what you would expect of an Irish den. Inside is a little darker, and has a nostalgic feel to it. Enough room to fit enough folks, and largely standing room (at least for this holiday setup). Bar was easily accessible, low wait times. They have a large patio outside that made all the difference for drinking on a lovely day that had a wee bit o'water comin' down. The restrooms were clean (as they can be with a bunch of raucous hooligans milling about), no long waits. Good shade on the patio in the sun, and cover from the rain. We rolled with a crowd of just under 20 split between two tables, one covered one not. Everyone had a great time, service was good, ambience was on point. Twas a great holiday with great people, in a solid bar, with mostly great weather. Highly recommend spending your next St. Paddy's here.

Cool little hole in the wall with a crowd that appear to get to know each other. Appetizers and drinks were good. Music playing and as the night went on it turned into an impromptu singing as a large group. Have been here a couple of times and will return!

Have gone here a couple times and it's okay, nothing special in my opinion. We live nearby so thought it could be a good option to watch some sports and get some food. They do have a lot of screens which is nice for games and obviously you can get drinks, but the food is the pain point for me. We've tried a few different things form here and it just wasn't that good. Maybe we need to try other options, but we just have not been impressed by what we tried. For example, we got a pizza here that just had low quality ingredients and didn't even come out warm. If you just want to watch a game and grab a drink it's fine, but anything more and there are probably better options around.

Johnny McElroy's Irish Pub & Patio is within walking distance from my office so I stopped by with a co-worker for happy hour on a Friday. We had a blast and this Irish Pub. While we didn't try any of the food, we took full advantage of the happy hour. Wells are on special during their happy hour so I stuck with one of my go to's---rum and coke. The indoor area has your typical pub feel and there's a Jukebox where you can pay to play your favorite tunes. To the side of the long bar, there's some seating outside of the bar by the front entrance. With that being said, we spent most of our time on their outdoor patio. The weather was nice so it was a no-brainer. Out there, there's picnic table-style seating and more comfortable lounge seating. Service was friendly and efficient. The prices are affordable. We made some friends randomly. All in all, it was a great evening.

Great sports bar to watch our teams play. Plenty of TV screens available inside and in the deck to watch our Astros! Sat at the bar on Tuesday steak night. The steaks were perfectly cooked as ordered with delicious side vegetables. The bartenders (both female) were very nice and attentive. This was our first time here. We will return often!!

Great brews - laid back environment! This is one of our neighborhood bars we walk to and my husband, I, and friends enjoy it! They have a great selection of beers and liqour. They always play good music from oldies go alternative! The food here I heard is not that great, but I never personally had it before! J just come here for the drinks and vibes outside on the patio! On the patio, the service is still good as they always check up on you for any refills! Will always be back

So I went today and everything was going well, then our food came out and we got nachos and a pepperoni pizza - but some of the slices looked questionable. My boyfriend got the pizza and ate half of it anyways. I ordered a margherita pizza to go and put it in my fridge when I got home. I took it out to heat up and I opened it and noticed the slices had been shaken around, however, the slices didn't match each other! The cut lines didn't match and then some slices were shorter than others! How does that happen?? It looked like they took slices from other pizzas, put cheese over it and then reheated and "cut" it again. I'm pretty sure that's not normal. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING don't go. I'll post pictures (Yelp won't let me post a video) I took of it. I flipped it over so I could try to see the cut lines and you can just tell from the back. I'm not bs'ing on this, I work in the industry and I would NEVER think this would be okay to serve. Honestly horrific, terrible. I'm sorry, but I couldn't ever go again.

Came here for St Patty's day and boy oh boy did I have the best time!!! Such an awesome spot to come and celebrate at an authentic Irish Pub!!! A bunch of friends and I met here and couldn't seem to want to leave! We sat out on the patio, it was such a beautiful day! Somehow we managed to snag a table that fit most of our crew, but there was good space for standing around as well. Soon before we knew it, this place was bustling with fellow patty's day folks! Great vibe with the music that was playing. The bartendings were tending for sure, with flowing green beer, great drinks and shots! They had such a fun positive vibe all day with the droves of people and drinks that was coming their way!! Parking was definitely a lil sus in the beginning, as if you're a speed racer like myself, you can pass the driveway pretty quickly, but I looped around and found that there is a back street also that you can get into their parking lot which is an unpaved little area behind the pub. As we drank, of course we got hungry! The few little apps and stuff we tried were good for pub food, and did the trick to keep us going for the rest of the day! I don't think we intended to spend as much time here as we did, but that just goes to show that this was the place to be!!! Huge shoutout to Jason for bringing us all together to celebrate this amazing holiday!!!

Johnny McElroy's was the spot to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year with the crew. I arrived right when they opened and was able to find a parking spot out back without any problems. If pulling in from Waugh, the entrance to the lot is a little tricky to find. The lot is essentially an unfinished grass and dirt lot so keep that in mind. I was literally the first customer in and was greeted by the super friendly staff. They had this place decked out for the holiday and had beads and koozies laid out everywhere for all those who were celebrating. I was a little worried that this place was going to be a dud but the crowds came in droves a little later. This place looks like a house turned pub. The inside is smaller than the patio. We rolled with a pretty large crew and was able to snag a nice table on the patio that was covered. When the crowds reached it's peak, maneuvering around got a little more challenging. It got busy but they handled it with ease. Green beer and drinks was what I was looking for and they delivered on that. They had a nice St. Patrick's Day menu set up that had a nice variety to it. You could get a light beer and have it colored green. I started off with a Snake Bite, which is Guiness and a cider. The dark beer typically floats over the lighter cider and has a nice presentation to it. We didn't really get that here as they were pumping out drinks quick in smaller portions. It still tasted fine. I also got to try a bright green holiday margarita that was delicious. Drink wise, they have a very impressive selection of draft and bottled beers, as well as a full bar. They also have a pretty nice looking food menu with all your typical bar fare. We only partook in chips and queso which was surprisingly tasty. From what I saw, the other food looked good too.Overall, a great time was had by all on this wonderful holiday. The live music was a bonus, but I can not remember hearing one Irish song though. I could see myself coming back here from time to time. May the luck of the Irish be with ya!
