Johnnie Bleu is about to be Houston's next big hit! I've been twice now. Once for amapiano night and once for a Black Employee group mixer for my company. The food is delicious especially the wings and fresh sushi. The music is great for all genres of the African diaspora and the bartenders are super cool. Last night we met the owner Pierre and he is such a cool and welcoming person!! I look forward to being a frequent flyer of this place and also ordering those wings on doordash when I can't make it in person

Came for the live music one night (which was fantastic), but I was surprised by how good the bulgogi beef was. So flavorful and juicy! It would've been perfect if it had come with rice though, but it was still really good.

Excellent venue! Really nice band for Happy Hour on Wednesdays. Great location and good food!

Johnnie Bleu is a newly opened longe, restaurant and bar. The ambiance is actually pleasing with a great selection of R&B, soul and some jazz for your listening pleasure.I had the Bulgogi Rice bowl which made me very happy (it was delicious!). My beverage of choice was a ginger beer delivered on the rocks.The prices for food and drink are $$ to start with and go up from there.I plan to come again and bring my family the next time I'm in town!

This place has terrible service. I sat waiting for over an hour after I finished dinner for my check. The food was fine, but they weren't serving the full menu. The decor was nice, having the TV'S behind the bar is helpful when the service is so slow. Maybe I went at the wrong time of the night, but I would expect Happy Hour to have better

The food is great and very, very fresh, the service is 100/ awesome! Best Korean Fusion restaurant ever! 100% everyone should come here!

Just visited Johnnie Bleu's for the first time and my wife and I were very impressed. She had the Salmon Lover Combo (very fresh and nicely presented) and I had the Beef Bulgogi (very tasty).Prices and portions were very reasonable and the service was excellent. They've done a very nice job remodeling the restaurant which used to be Yao's Chinese Restaurant at the corner of Westheimer and Gessner.They are having a "soft" opening now with the grand opening toward the middle of June. We 'll definitely be going back!

This place has great food, the service was amazing and the vibe was really good. I recommend this place for a date night, hanging out with friends or just chilling by yourself.
