John Gino's Pizza & Catering

Before I even ordered I gave them an automatic 5 stars on google. I can tell you I didn't regret that at all. This place has authentic Chicago thin or extra thin-crust reminds me of my childhood and definitely can contend for the best Chicago style pizza.( and I'm not talking about tourist deep dish). In my opinion most are not worthy of a review so my reviews are few but always honest. But to my fellow yelpers thanks for helping me sometimes decide where to eat. Give them a try very Good pizza.

On my list of places I must visit on my Chicago trip. The deep dish pizza are one of the things I miss most since I moved to Florida.

I ordered a pizza last night! Half pepperoni for kids. Half mushroom, green pepper, spinach, sausage. Beef sandwich and hot wings. Never had a problem with them. Got home I had unexpected company. Waited 2 hrs to eat. Opened box and this is what I got. Paid $30 for this pizza and didn't get what I wanted.called 6 x no answer. I boxed them on fb no answer, I wrote a review they turned them off.

I am so grateful to John Gino's Pizza. Another food service took an order, took our money, and then didn't arrive with our food to a local funeral home for my FIL's services. John Gino's came to our rescue with amazing pizza, fast delivery, and very, very friendly service. This is a top rate pizzeria with top rate staff. I can't say thank you enough.

Stay away from this place! Despite that the staff is beyond rude this place is dirty, nasty, definitely not following COVID guidelines they don't care if people come in without masks because themselves are not wearing one

WOw they deleted my review. I will never buy from them again. End of last year ordered a pizza and arrived to pick up and notice the kid pull my pizza out and start to move slices back in place because after cutting they moved. Well he used his fingers and kept sucking the sauce off his fingers. That is my pizza and I dont want his spit. I complained and asked for my money back. She gave me my money back and said she would tell the owner but I was curious, so in Jan I went there ordered fries and guess what... That kid is still there and still licking his fingers. NOPE NEVER EVER. Can you imagine if the kid caught COVID, the Flu or a bad cold... Anyone eating that pizza will get it.

This place is the best if you live nearby, if not try Fassano's pizza which is also nearby. The dinners are clearly frozen so, if you can, only get the pizza. They offer a decent variety of toppings and their prices are pretty moderate. They have a thin crust and an extra thin crust, honest I've had both and they are practically the same so don't stress about it. Usually there is an older woman working behind the counter, she is the owner. I've only had good experiences with her, but some of my family tell me she is rude. Overall this place is good to try once or twice, but I'm sure you're not going to get attached.

Yummy food, cheese was great amount nice flavor, meatballs was good size w tasty sauce, onion rings and wings was nice and Crispy. Women was very sweet when my order was picked up. Very friendly only down part is their hrs

I got the ribs and shrimp dinner, and homemade beef sandwich. It was awesome. Delivery was quick and hot. You guys rock !!!Thank you so much

The food here is pretty good, it had become one of my go to pizza spots but lately the staff has been extremely rude and because of that I no longer feel I can order from John Gino's. Considering we're in a pandemic and lots of businesses have closed because of it, I would think getting our business would be a good thing instead of sounding annoyed by our calls.
