Joe's Water Ice

My best friend took me here when I was visiting her and she wasn't lying!! The soft serve espresso in a sugar cone was amazing and I had the coffee hard ice cream with chocolate jimmies! Amazing homemade, delicious ice creams. They also have water ice and soft pretzels and so much more.

We've been coming here forever for good reason. I like supporting a small, local business and their ice cream and water ice slaps (as my kids say )They have a great selection of flavors and make a killer sundae (and I can get wet walnuts!!!). Just had one for dinner...don't judge me. But go to Joe's!

Wow! It's the best ice cream that we ever had. Out daughters get us this treat almost every Friday afternoon and bring it with them on a visit to the Town Manor EAST Nursing Home. I like the Vanilla with Carmel syrup and she either gets the same or Vanilla and when it is available, she gets Cream de Mint. So Good.Don & Nancy

We tried amaretto and creme de menthe soft serve flavors...delicious! It was soft and melted quickly so we had to chow down fast, but very yummy. We'll be back to try the other 22 flavors!

Awesome Ice cream. The workers here are always kind and the owner is a great guy. This place is walkable distance from my house and my boyfriend cant get enough of it. We love the seating area outside since we often walk with our dogs here! Were always sad when it closes in the fall!

Great ice cream and water ice. Owner and all of the staff are very friendly. I really like the bing cherry, salted caramel pretzel and bourbon pecan ice cream. My favorite local ice cream and water ice spot.

Joe's, an ice cream/water ice store does it best. No frills, just delicious soft serve ice cream, sundaes, banana splits, etc. Convenient hours, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Its my go-to place when I need a treat in the summer.

Just moved to the neighborhood and was thrilled to find this place. Water ice is far superior to Rita's (it has a little more of a "slushie feel to it) and their ice cream is very good too. Try the hand-dipped milkshakes - you'll never go back to frozen yogurt ones. Also, they just added a loyalty card for water ice - buy 8, get 1 free - a very good deal.

Great local spot on Johnson highway away from the filth of main st.... Both soft serve and hard ice cream they actually make here and they rotate the special flavors every week. Lotta strange kid type creations including unicorn? But seriously give it a try

IMO, it's never too cold for a water ice. Today I tried a small cotton candy and watermelon. I'm sooooo glad I live 20 minutes away because I'd probably visit Joe's everyday. True water ice with the familiar "Philly summer" flavor. I'll definitely go back to try their other flavors, including the custard/ice cream. I wonder if he sells by the bucket?? (Just kidding.....but not really). :)
