We have been enjoying Joes Italian for at the very least 10 years. So now I'm sad after 2 poor visits and a smug run in with the manager to say we will not be returning. The first visit a month or so back the rolls were hard, which is disappointing because the rolls were always so soft and warm. They were hard so we asked for a new basket hoping they were just an older batch from that day. But unfortunately they came back hard again. Now today 09/03/23 we decided to try again because Joes is one of my favorite places and we all have problems sometimes. Yet again the rolls were very hard, the waitress told us the oven broke and the dough was brought in from Dallas, apologized and brought a new batch. Still hard. Bummer. Then we got our dinner salads, they were wilted pieces of iceberg lettuce with no greens. Very poor quality salad for a $17/$18+ meal. Lastly our main course came out and both were baked in a thick mess of cheese. I ordered the manicotti and added spinach. I am a serious cheese lover, so when I say there was too much cheese I mean TOO much cheese. The same case for the spinach lasagna. Maybe cut back on the cheese and use that money for quality products.. We decided we had had enough of the baked cheese dishes and asked for the check. When we spoke to the manager at the front, instead of being humble and apologetic about a poor experience he was extremely smug and confrontational biting back with excuses to our complaints. Use that saved money from cutting back on cheese and find you a manager that knows how to treat customers. Pitiful.

Why 5 stars? Because this wasn't really on my radar, but I'm so glad we went. --- --- ---Months ago, my wife and I brought our son here for lunch. There was no cell service, so our hot spot wasn't working on our iPad. When you have a toddler, an iPad is a necessity to enjoy a peaceful meal. And unfortunately, there was an incredibly impatient and irritable diner that was loudly voicing his displeasure with our child's whining. This resulted in us abruptly leaving before we even ordered our meals.Fast forward to visit #2: we went without the kiddo and had the complete opposite experience. Both of us were eyeing the chicken parmesan and we came very close to just ordering two of them. But while I was scrolling through photos, I came across one that looked incredibly appealing. It was not captioned, so I showed a photo to the waiter and asked what it was. He wasn't sure, but called someone else over, who said that it was called "Veal Messina". It wasn't on the menu but it was something they could make. While I had no idea what to expect, I took the risk and went for that.I'm so glad I did because it was amazing. The only downside is that it was incredibly heavy and creamy, so I couldn't finish my plate (a shockingly rare occurrence for me), but the flavor was amazing. It was almost like eating pasta with syrup, it was so rich. The wife's chicken parm was also great, as was everything else: the bread, the salad, the service and everything about the experience. I'm so glad we came back here and we will definitely return in the future... without a child!

I'm really impressed by this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, and very affordable. Portions are also pretty good, but not overwhelming. We have been looking for a good Italian place, and it is worth the drive because of how good it is. Highly recommend the sampler or the chicken Alfredo! Our waitress was very nice. They're very to the point, but in a good way! They give vibes of the more you come the more they'll learn about and connect with you. Like visiting friends who just happen to serve your food. It's a small quaint atmosphere. It is an open concept which I'm eh on. I do like the idea of a little bit of privacy, but it's like eating in a family gathering. However, if it's full I could see it being a bit loud. It was probably about half full when we ate there. Noise wise level was probably medium. To wrap it up though it was a great and amazing place to come to get a great and affordable meal. I can't wait to come back!

Joes Italian for lunch. First time there the parking lot was full but there were plenty of tables available. Joes does italian food very well. Everything we ordered the; Italian-chicken soup was rich and creamy full of things my wife would make those happy sounds over. Yummm. The Focaccia - Homemade fresh toasted bread with fresh garlic tomatoes and melted cheese was absolutely fantastic they had to of made the bread that morning. The Caeser salad was fresh just the right amount of tanginess. A Eggplant Parmigiana sub was really outstanding for 9.95. The chicken Marsala over angle hair pasta was a rich brown sauce full of mushrooms and wine - few could do it better than Joes. Dessert was a perfect Tiramisu my wife couldn't keep her fork out of - we were sharing. Easy on the wallet for what we ordered and plenty to take home. Service just right! There is a mountain of choices on the menu and I will be back to try them. Great Job Joe!

Was craving some pasta and came across Joe's Italian Restaurant. Seated quickly and my server Sharlotte got me set up with some water and a Shiner Bock. Went with the Spaghetti & Meatballs but also requested some sausage too. The meal came with a soup and the special was a Chicken Tortellini with spinach and it was DELICIOUS...rich, creamy, and the tortellini perfectly cooked. They brought out some bread rolls along with an oil and seasoning mixture for dipping. The bread is nice and warm but the oil mixture is too heavy on the garlic for me. The pasta was perfectly Al-dente and the sauce was very good and stuck well onto the noodles, love it when places serve pasta with a spoon for twirling. The meatballs were OK but seemed to lack seasoning, but the sausages were really good, loved the grill marks and flavor. Overall a good pasta dish with nice flavors and enough leftover for another meal. Very good food and wonderful service!Note: I saw some of the pizza's and a Calzone being delivered to other tables and they looked good.
