A hood gem - I love Jo Jo's! I use to work in the area and Jo Jo's was sometimes the highlight of the day, lol. Quality hoagies and smoothies. They also have cheesesteak egg roles and really good chicken salad. oo and salads! honestly, I haven't had a bad experience with Jo Jo's yet. Service is great but the store is small and almost, always crowded. Order ahead to save yourself time. Street parking in SW.

This is a well deserved update for Jo Jo Deli. I gave them 3 stars in my previous review, but I think they deserve a second opinion. The reasons I felt compelled to upgrade them is 2 fold. 1. The Godfather sandwich 2. The pack of fresh, sliced watermelon. The Godfather is a grilled chicken sandwich on a seeded Italian roll with sharp provolone cheese, broccoli rabe and sweet and Italian long hot peppers. The sandwich is nearly perfect, full of juicy, grilled chicken, paired with the bitter broccoli rabe and peppers make this sandwich hard to beat. I criticized the bread in my previous review,but it's more suited for a hot sandwich like The Godfather. I crave it everyday. The watermelon speaks for itself, sweet and juicy and a perfect accompaniment to the Godfather. It's rare that you can get fresh fruit with a Deli sandwich. If you're in the area, try it, you won't be disappointed.

Disrespectful . This use to be my favorite place to order from and they do once in a while ness up my order and i always call to have to remake it for me but the last time I ordered from this place they messed up my order to which I can't even try to eat it so I called to let them know and all I got is yelling from the manger. I paid my money and I wanted my money back or what I ordered but he kept yelling and telling me off so I didn't want to be disrespected which I then hung up the phone on him. I never ordered from there since and I will never!!!!!!
