The ribs are very good. Very tasty and the smell is out of this world . The service is slow it took about an hour but the food was with the wait . They only accept cash

Ribs are consistently good. Old school, smoked in barrels out back. Be prepared to wait an hour plus. The space is nothing fancy. There is a flat screen tv with an antenna. It couldn't hurt to invest in a Roku stick.

J&J hasve great food but they are so damn slow and only take cash gtfoh its 2024 please step up your game. Thats why i no longer come here wait is too long not organized etc

This is a classic Atlanta rib joint. The old fashion BBQ spareribs has potential to be the best in Atlanta. The homemade bottled to sale sauce is not needed but an added bonus. The only problem with this establishment is the wait time. The wait times seems like the ribs are cooked to order. We are talking place an order, go home take a nap then come back and still wait.This is the only reason this place has 3 stars.

Call your order in 2 hours ahead and pickup..Best Move to make...The BBQ is definitely 1 of the best in Atlanta and beyond. This is a must go to for anyone.

Went on a Wednesday it was a 20 min wait. This is a cash only restaurant. I got a Rib tip plate.

Everything was outstanding !!! The service and portion so were great. They have the best sauce ever. You really need to stop in and experience the meats. Ribs , chicken and short ribs I bought for my granddaughter's graduation dinner.

The sauce so good promise you going back gone be a wait but it gone be worth every min make sure you order ahead

This is the worst service that I have ever seen. I ordered a pan of rib tips and a pan of chicken the day before for the 4th July. I have been here for over an hour waiting on the order I made yesterday. They sold out of meat right after I came in to pickup my order (12:45pm). When customers started asking questions about orders they had placed they were greeted with eye rolls and bad customer service. One customer's food was ready, but they were not there to pick it up yet, so they sold another person's food instead of waiting for them to come back. This will be my last time spending money with this business. Please get better with customer service and taking orders.

I had high hopes for JJ Rib Shack, but my first visit was nothing short of a disaster. The unprofessional and unorganized nature of this establishment was evident from the start. Calling to place my order, I was greeted with a casual "yea hello," which set the tone for the rest of my experience.I was told it would be a 30 to 45 minute wait, which was acceptable. However, arriving 15 minutes after opening to find the place already packed was surprising. I patiently waited in my car for 40 minutes before going inside to pick up my order. When I asked the young lady at the counter if my order was ready, she acted indifferent and couldn't find my name on the pick-up list. After calling someone from the back, they finally located my order, but it still wasn't ready even after another 15 minutes.The complete lack of urgency and poor customer service were frustrating. I had spent my time and money, only to be met with indifference and inefficiency. After waiting well beyond the promised time, I decided to leave without my food.Overall, my experience at JJ Rib Shack was horrible. The disorganization and terrible customer service ensured that this will be my first and last visit. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a positive dining experience.
