Jim's Seafood Fresh & Fried

The food came out hot and fast. It was all fresh and all fried. It reminded of old school seafood restaurants. They also carry a variety of fish. The waitstaff were super warm and welcoming. You can eat in or take out. Food was worth the price, not expensive at all.

What a GEM!! 2 miles off I95 in an unassuming strip. Best fried fish, oysters, scallops, crispy, lightly battered and salted and over the top deviled crabs I've had in a long time. Cooked perfectly, crispy (not greasy) and tender (moist). The service was very good and the place was well kept and clean (the bathrooms could do with an update, needs a baby changing table). It's truly a hidden gem. Wish we lived nearby. We will be stopping by whenever we are driving by.

Clean and very crowded we ordered and we're not asked how we wanted things cooked. I also asked for a taste of the potato salad and they just put it on as one of my sides. Our crabcakes were over cooked and the scallops and catfish came breaded and fried. We might try again during the day. Our neighbors said they like lunch there. Lots of take out dinners going out.

Wow!! Delicious seafood for a great price.Hush puppies and butter delivered immediately upon seating.I ordered the sautéed catfish and squash fritters. Delicious flavors and a wonderful experience. Will be back.

Food was sooo good! I ate everything on that plate. The waitress knew sign language and made our order easier. She was very attentive!

Jumbo shrimp better than anywhere in the world. Not overcooked or over breaded. The green beans were not boiled to drain flavor. Normally why get green beans out but yes. A great side choice. And the squash fritters as well. Looking forward to another visit. Support our veterans and buy their dinner if you see one - $10 worth the price of freedom.

I was in Dunn to take care of some business and saw this place and didn't expect much. It is located in a strip mall and in a rather unremarkable location. The interior could stand a facelift. The food is mostly seafood if not all seafood. Do one thing and do it right. And they do! Lightly breaded and not overcooked or over salted. Even the coleslaw was to my liking, not sweet nor loaded full of mustard. Try the squash fritters. I have absolutely no other reason to go back to Dunn, NC other than to come back for dinner.

Immediately when you choose your table a basket of hot hush puppies are brought to the table. My meal was good, fresh boiled potatoes were a side. Senior meal all day is same as lunch portion for $8.99. A great little local place where everybody knows everybody. Service was very good!

Overrated in my opinion. Shrimp is not golden and crispy. Portions too small for the price they charge.

Great food. All fried. Great cole slaw and fries. Can get whole fish with bones in it. Not the Ritz but food will not disappoint. Tourists, please stay away so I can get my favorite table. Tip big, service gals are outstanding.
