Food was good quality, you could tell it was not from a bag or frozen. Soy garlic had the option of spicy or not spicy. Spicy was not too overpowering.Service was straight forward nothing crazy Open food court so the vibe depends on the day, wasn't busy on a Sunday evening

Solid four stars. First, this restaurant is part of an Asian food court on top of 69th street HMart. When I lived in NYC, I would frequent Fort Lee and Little Korea on 32nd street to get my fix. I was able to get bibimbap in a sizzling hot stone bowl, and all the ingredients were super fresh. The only banchan offering was kimchi radish and pickle. My meal also came with a cup of miso soup. I have gotten used to minimal customer service from authentic Asian spots- so I can say the service was ok. I'm glad this place is here to satisfy my Korean food cravings.

I've ordered food to go here a few times over the last few months and enjoyed it each time. You have to go in the H Mart entrance and take the escalator upstairs. There is a small, food court style eating area there if you prefer. I will grab some boba tea from S&P while I wait.I've had the kalbi, bulgogi, kimchi, miso, and more. I also walked/trained one mile back to my house with it and my food was still warm. The flavor is good, ingredients fresh, and it always hit the spot for me.

There a couple of Korean BBQ restaurants near me in Ardmore but have a limited selection of the hot post stew style dishes which I crave. Before I did monthly bulk Asian grocery haul at H-Mary I had to get my favorite stew- yukgaejang in the food court. The menu has wide variety of stews, noodle soup and bbq. Watching the other orders- all look so delicious. My stew had tender shredded beef, glass noodles and some dried Vegetable roots and mushrooms ( don't know the types- but delicious.) and green onions in a spicy beef broth. Comes with a bowl of rice, Kim chee and a side of the day( this time it was boiled peanuts) I take a scoop of rice in the broth with the big spoon they give you and it is so comforting. I want to try anther stew but I keep ordering yuk gae jang ! Prices are significantly reasonable compared to the sit restaurants I've been in Blue Bell and elsewhere. I will be back on my next grocery trip! Tip: you return your tray to the counter when you are done eating. Napkins are ice cream napkins - I bring extra ones Lol. Also bring wipes to clean the table- I don't see anyone cleaning up in food court.

I usually get the spicy pork bulgogi but wanted to switch it up going with the chicken and thinking it wouldn't be spicy but it is lol it's good though. The wait for the food wasn't long either, just a peaceful and simple feast at the food court, other people are nice too

One floor above the Upper Darby H-Mart, Jian Korean Cuisine sits in the far corner of the food court. There's a sizable menu of classic Korean dishes -- you got your jjigaes, your pancakes, your bokkeumbaps. I stared at the menu for a solid 7 minutes before settling on the Kimchi Dol-Sot (hot stone pot rice).Uh... it's alright. Banchan (side dishes) of radish (aight), miso soup (ok), and pickles with sesame seeds (not today, not ever). The audible crackle of the stone pot was the best part of the meal lowkey. It was a very average Korean meal, and tasted like a sauce dump. Sadly, Philly seems to be somewhat devoid of good Korean food (someone please change my mind on this!), although this would be considered decent on Philly standards.

Jian Korean Cuisine is located on the second floor of HMart in a food court. It's the stall that's all the way in the corner. There's usually parking in front of the supermarket and there's a lot across the street as well. I got the Yookgaejang ($8.99) and it comes with kimchi, pickles, and water. For the amount of food they give you I think it's not too badly priced. I think some items on the menu are better than others though. I enjoyed my dish and thought it was flavorful, but the dish that my friend ordered tasted odd. My soup definitely hit the spot and satisfied my craving, but this isn't a place that I'd purposefully come to unless I was also grocery shopping.TLDR: Average Korean food but it's convenient place to satisfy your craving for Korean food while grocery shopping.
