Chicken shawarma was incredible, seems like one of those hidden treasures. Not a place to dine in, but perfect for take out and some middle eastern specialties.

Very good chicken schwarma. The chicken was perhaps a little bit dry/crumbly. But the pita was fresh, the vegetables were plentiful and fresh. And overall this was a good wrap and a good value

Owner of this place is a gem. Great dude. Really cares about the neighborhood. Baklava home made right up front. Tons and tons of great middle eastern delights and staples. If you need something quick and cheap, definitely check here before acme. Good chance he has what you need.I'm here twice a week just for quick, cheap, starbucks double shot cans... but always something else i need while i'm there.

I am fortunate to have Jerusalem Foods right on my block. I love Middle Eastern & Mediterranean foods and love to cook, so this corner food store is so convenient. The fresh lamb, chicken, spices, dried chickpeas, walnuts, pita bread, goat cheese, feta cheese, dates, figs, Basmati rice, fresh hummus, olives and olive oil makes this a cook's dream. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Fun place to shop in.

Food made to order! Fresh food! Inexpensive great tasting food! Y'all need to check this place out if you haven't yet. Tons of spices you can buy lots of different olive oils and gluten free flower to bake with. So happy I found this place. Cute little neighborhood shop with everything you need.

At the rear of a little corner grocery store, Harith the chef holds sway. Got a chicken schwarma platter, with a highly seasoned chicken, sitting on a bed of greens. It came with a 1-2 cup of homemade hummus and tahini dressing plus garlic mayo. It cost me $11. My friend got homemade falafel platter. It was yummy and cheaper by a dollar. Terrific find. And great place to get middle eastern canned goods too!

Stopped here after visiting expensive food eateries in nearby Fishtown, and hungry for a bite. Saw the corner store, saw a sign that said "falafel", and double-parked while my friend went in. After 5 minutes, and me saying "what's taking so long", I decided to park legit, and went in myself to see what's was going on. I noticed immediately that the quality of the foods sold was good stuff, not cheap stuff. The falafel sandwiches were HUGE and freshly made. The folks preparing food were great. They talked and socialized. This is the real deal. What a treasure. THANK YOU !!
