Jerry's Bar

This spot was selected for our Mother's Day Brunch outing. The name does not do it justice as it is much much more than just a "bar".We had reservations, arrived slightly earlier and was seated right away. Stephanie our waitress was awesome, she had the best vibe, great personality and was thorough in her presentation of specials and suggestions.I had already picked out what I was eating after viewing a reel someone posted on Instagram. I ordered the Loaded Home Fries, Bananas Foster French Toast, a side of Turkey Bacon and of course a MOMOSA. Baybeee!!! That smoked gouda gravy on them loaded home fries sent me into something! Pure perfection, they got them home fries so absolutely right!! They were better than I imagined them tasting.The other two orders were the Fried Chicken Sandwich and the Chicken & Waffles (sorry didn't get the pic at the restaurant when it came out) but there was a to-go order placed before we left.Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was bustling as it was a Mother's Day Sunday afternoon, if I lived in Philly I'd frequent this establishment on a consistent basis. I enjoyed myself here and the quality of the food stood up to the prices. Check them out!

Jerry's is the kind of Philly eatery I love: tucked in the neighborhood, off the beaten path, cozy, and with a menu far more sophisticated than any neighborhood cafe in another city. The cocktails are great. The burger is delicious. The seafood is as fresh as you can get. The sides are even better than most places: grilled bok choy, roasted Brussels sprouts, hand-cut fries. I've made a meal of those and would do it again. Salads are also made with care. Even the green side salad has chopped vegetables and is elevated beyond the usual iceberg-cherry tomato-green pepper combo.Staff are great. They work hard, climbing stairs and navigating multiple dining rooms. Service is really good.

Really love the ambiance. Great outdoor seatings, food was flavorful, and the server was attentive. Food breakdown:Wings - 1/2 sesame 1/2 bbq. I like the bbq better but overall i appreciate how it sticks to the wings instead of being overly saucy.Burger: good. Wished the meat was a bit more rare, but tasted great.Buratta pesto: the combo of pesto and balsamic vinaigrette was awesome to lair it with the buratta, but the toast was...too toasty. FOR ME.7.2/10

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the staff checked on us often to make sure we were happy. They had some unique and fun food options. We took family from out of town here and it proved to be a fun brunch!

Came back for brunch and had an okay time. Made reservations, but still had to wait 10-15min to be seated. Our waitress was very friendly, but it took forever to get water and order.We ordered an Irish coffee and espresso martini for drinks. For food, I ordered the spring omelette which was delicious and full of veggies. I loved the side potatoes that came with it. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast Sammie on an everything bagel and it came out using a plain bagel. He strongly disliked his food and said the bagel alone was stale and the filling had no seasoning. I took a few bites and agreed his food was not good. However, mine was on point! Order the omelette but skip the stale bagel sandwich.

Went for brunch - loved the vibes! Server was quick to come over and was also our bartender. We got a delish sticky bun to start us off and then I opted for the chilequiles special! It was packing some heat! I like my eggs a little runny and the were fried pretty hard so that would be my only negative! Overall - will be back!

came here on a Thursday and the environment was pretty fun. To my surprise as the evening got later there was a game night it seems because a dj was handing out bingo sheets throughout the place. It was a pleasant surprise. A lot of people played including myself and the prizes were pretty cool. I just came for drinks but I will be back for both drinks AND food. The bartender was very nice and attentive. This place is clean and the drinks were nicely made. I'd say the bartender i had definitely knew what she was doing my drink was strong. It was called a lavender moon.

Went to Jerry's for the first time for Paddy's Day weekend. Absolutely did not disappoint. Guinness on draft. Live Irish musician. Fantastic food. It was so great that I had to come back the next day to get the real dinner special and not just the bar ones. The service was great and super friendly both times. I sat in the downstairs front bar area and enjoyed the folks. Would be great to sit outside on a warm summer night too. Definitely check out Jerry's if you're looking for great food and great drinks!

My friend and I were looking for a place to go on the night of the Super Bowl that didn't have a tv! I know...but the Eagles weren't even playing so... I actually saw Jerry's featured on "Check Please" on PBS so we gave it a try. Good choice! We were surprised to find that they were taking part in restaurant week so we decided that would be the way to go. I ordered the fish (I'm writing this weeks after so can't remember what dish.. trout? Maybe) Anyway, what I DO remember is that it was good! This place has such a warm feel and Mike took such good care of us. He gave us the low down of the menu and even some interesting facts about how Jerry's got started. He also delivered on the cocktails, with great recommendations and wonderful drinks. This is a good place with great bar food and serious hospitality! I'll definitely be back.

Went to Jerry's Bar for restaurant week. The hummus trio was delicious, the brussel salad was OK- it didn't seem like many brussel sprouts were in there? Would not recommend the halibut, rather flavorless.
