Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

We went to the Jeni's located in the city centre and tried their lavender and vanilla bean ice cream. I gotta say, it wasn't too bad. I thought that it was bit too sweet imo. But, can't argue against their vibe and ambiance as its right inside the city centre next to the main courtyard. Theres music playing and kids playing around and you are just surrounded by the family vibe when you are enjoying your ice cream! I gave 4/5

I really like this place. There's a large variety of ice creams to choose from. I always like when the flavors are a bit unusual. I like that you can mix and match scoops. I got one scoop of this sweet potato ice cream. It was a powerful flavor. Very strong. But it was sweet she good and gave me heavy fall vibes. I got another brambleberry one that I liked less. The flavor was really good but it had way too many little seeds and I can be a little weird about textures sometimes. I can tolerate a little bit of seeds but that's not the crunch I want to feel from my ice cream. The flavor fit that one really was good though. It just the texture hijacked my experience a bit. This is one if those places that you want to do like a taste test challenge with. Sit down and have a bite from every flavor they have. Will he going back next time I'm in town. The area is great. Seating at the ice cream shop is limited depending on what day of the week you go. Weekdays might be fine. Busy weekend night you might have hi sit elsewhere in city centre.

Great service! The staff were so so friendly. I Was able to try 2-3 flavors before getting them, and settled on the coffee and darkest chocolate flavors. Both delicious! They have tons of flavors to choose from and not just basic ones but some pretty interesting flavors so I recommend checking this place out! The shop itself is cute and modern looking, not the largest space but they have some tables inside and outside as well.

Talk about beating the heat. Jeni's Spendid Ice Creams is a treat you won't forget. Their unique and buttery flavors melts in your mouth. Not sure what you want? Try a sample. From the moment I walked in, the smell of vanilla cones being made and the warm "hello welcome in" from the team made me feel comfortable. And trust me, on a hot day like that, you can imagine how eager people are to get the ice cream and go. I was not rushed and was encouraged to try more flavors if needed. Plus, the location is hard to beat. Shopping stores all around and a play area with grass for kids to kick the ball around. Perfectly situated among restaurants as well so you can get dessert before or after your meal.

Jeni's Ice Cream has always surpassed all my expectations for good quality ice cream. The flavors are unique, delicious, and have a rich consistency! The employees who work here are very friendly and had excellent service. I would recommend trying a few flavors before deciding on what combination you want. The flavors I ended up choosing were wild lavender, gooey butter cake, and rainbow yogurt. I am so happy I got a mix of flavors that complemented each other well. You really can't go wrong with any of the the flavors - they are all really well balanced.Jeni's is sorta on the pricey side at around $8 for a cup that fits 3 smallish scoops. But that seems standard now for good quality ice cream! Loved the ambiance of city center at this location. Great spot to walk around after picking up a few scoops.

Stopped by here after dinner on a weekend and the line was out the door and wrapped around the side. It was at least a 30 min wait and in the heat, it felt like an hour. Only ~5-6 customers fit inside, so when it's busy, you have to wait for someone to wave you in. But we persevered as I was curious to see if it was worth the wait. TLDR: Not worth the wait, would maybe try again if no line, but if there's a line, there are other places with good ice cream There are maybe 2-3 little bar spots to sit at inside and 2-4 tables outside. We got lucky and snagged the inside seating as another group was leaving. This helped our ice cream experience as the entire thing would have melted in a few minutes if we left the a/c. They're patient with samples and I thought it was interesting that they use little metal spoons that can be washed and reused. We each got 3 scoops. $8 for city center is not bad and I thought the scoop was a decent size. Tried the salted licorice, bramble berry crisp, wild berry lavender, milkiest chocolate, salted peanut butter, gooey butter cake. The last 3 were not my picks and were what I expected. Overwhelmingly sweet and rich. Salted licorice was very unique and probably my favorite of the night. Didn't really taste the lavender in the lavender wild berry but it was ok. Bramble berry was ok too. 3/5 is my rating for all of the flavors. I prefer "lighter" ice cream in general so this just wasn't my cup of tea + the line.

Amazing ice cream. Grabbed a couple of scoops for my crunchy waffle bowl. The Fluffernutter flavor (peanut butter-marshmallow) was great, but my favorite is still Gooey Butter Cake. Fun venue.

Tried a variety and the almond brittle is hands down my favorite from here! Love the texture and flavor! I usually do not care for almond flavors but this one is great! Service is always great. Love taking my out of towners here for a sweet treat! Especially with the fresh made cones!!

I've heard of Jeni's before, and finally got around to trying it out the other day with my boyfriend. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly employees who instantly offered samples. I appreciated having the chance to try some samples, since there are so many flavors. I went with strawberry and chocolate on a waffle cone, and my boyfriend got coffee and I think butter cake on a waffle cone. The portions are really generous and the ice cream is decadent and rich, so I would definitely share a cone next time.
